It's on the main road so handy for commuting. There is an Indian and an Italian restaurant directly opposite and several nearby pubs which serve food. It's on the main road so some road noise.

The couple who own it are delightful people, very friendly and helpful. Although Rose Cottage is also their home I was made to feel welcome and would very happily stay there again. It has the added convenience of being only a few miles from the m6 but surrounded by open countryside and only 15-20 into the centre of Blackburn.

I found Rose cottage a lovely b&b. Very friendly and informative owners and beautifully cooked breakfast. The twin bedroom was very comfortable with good amenities, including fresh milk in the fridge :0). I have booked again for another stay.

This is a traditional style B&B where the owners are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room had everything I needed and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. If I ever need to stay in Blackburn again I would use Rose Cottage.
