The view of Loch Ness from our room and from the restaurant was excellent.
The breakfast was excellent, and I really appreciate the veggie full Scottish option. Veggie haggis was a treat.
The staff were competent, friendly and welcoming.
The packed lunch they prepared was superb also.

This place wowed us! We booked on a whim as we got rather tired on our Scotland road trip and we are so glad we stayed here! The exterior and interior of the hotel are so gorgeous and historic. We loved all of the details. The on site restaurant is also phenomenal. We had dinner as well as breakfast the next morning and couldn't stop talking about how delicious. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Very nice double room with private bathroom.
Exceptionally clean.
In a very quiet place but around 10 minutes by car from the closest village.
The host was very friendly and the breakfast was great.
I totally recommend it!

Hotel is very tired and facilities poor.
Hotel is very tired and facilities poor. Hairs in bath as well as shampoo/conditioner. Staff were not really customer focused and not available once they had shown us our room, which did not meet expectation.

Over priced. Relies on Monster nonsense.
Over priced. Relies on Monster nonsense. For a pretty part of the world it’s a bit scruffy. Very overpriced, Too popular, No bars so you’re ripped off in hotels for a simple drink.
Stay elsewhere if you have taste.

I would recommend just stopping for lunch in Drumnadrochit, the hotels are well overpriced and all cashing in on the monster theme. We were even charged £16,50 for a wine and a beer in one of the hotels down the road where we were thinking of going for dinner. A real rip off.

Beautiful place ,lovely people ,so much to see and do .the hostel is central u walk out and there's shops, pub and places to eat along with easy access to boat trips, Loch walks, the castle and much more
This B&B was in an excellent location very close to Loch Ness, the town, lake and Urqhart Castle. The house had a quaint little tearoom and the breakfast room had a big picture window for viewing the countryside that was exceptional. The breakfast was exceptional, very gourmet, with eggs Benedict as an option (which I chose). The favorite feature was the option of feeding the four pet Scottish Highland Cows after breakfast, and part of why I chose this property. The bedroom was large and had a nice window to view the countryside.
Arrived after another day walking the Great Glen Way. The garden was beautiful and I loved being able to sit outside to have my coffee and read my book.
Unfortunately, there was no restaurant open due to covid but our host was well prepared for this and provided us with our options for dinner. We went for take away and she kindly set up and cleared table for us to eat.
The triple room was beautiful and spacious. You’d think you were in a nice hotel. Bed was super comfortable and breakfast was amazing.
The Glen Bed & Breakfast is located at the very heart of Drumnadrochit but our room was still very quiet. Restaurant and cafes could be easily reached by foot. Our room with the attached en-suite bathroom was spacious and clean, the host made sure that we had everything we needed. As a vegan I was very delighted to have a breakfast with so many plant based options like oat milk, yoghurts, vegan cheese and vegan ham. Would definitely recommend!
The location was stunning, so close to Loch Ness, it was so peaceful and the lodge was clean, had everything you would want for a self catering holiday, Inverness was close with all the restaurants and take and culture you would hope for, we spend a day at Ben Nevis and we’re blown away with the beauty of the landscape of Scotland. Thank you Simon for meeting us at such a late hour due to a 14 hour trip
Stayed here on day three of walking the great glen way.
Fantastic place, super clean and felt like a hotel.
Excellent for hikers, on the route, not far from the supermarket, nice restaurant on premises with a separate vegan menu, clean self service kitchen, would recommend 100%
The accommodation was basic but clean and comfortable. We had been let down by another hotel & the staff here were more than helpful, booking us in at the last minute and arranging a last minute table for dinner. The food was lovely and atmosphere in the restaurant great.
Great hotel with lovely staff. We stayed 3 nights and found the stay very comfortable. The family rooms at the back are great with bunk beds for kids! Food at the restaurant is great and we really enjoyed the live band too! The staff were very kind and helpful!
This place is a fantastic deal! Quiet and beautiful property located walking distance to Loch Ness attractions. Host was so pleasant and helpful. She made the best recommendation for dinner at the Fiddler’s Inn just down the road.
We arrived later than planned after a very long day of walking on the Great Glen Way. What a joy to find a pub and restaurant located in the hotel. We were very glad to get some drinks and good food before falling into bed.
Hotel is in a nice and quiet location. Room was clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Bar is really nice. Easy to park outside. Nice restaurant is nearby (Fiddlers). (we haven't tried hotel's for dinner, but breakfast was OK)
The location and views over Loch Ness is amazing. The staff was exceptional and helpful. Its close proximity to Inverness makes it a great little gem in the Scottish country side and we will definitely be back.
An exceptional hotel. Of a very high standard with every thought given to the guests comfort. Although there are no evening meals the reception booked us into a hotel restaurant a five minute walk away.
This property is out in the country and right beside Loch Ness. It was a great price and our host shared the history of the house with us. Everyone was very accommodating.
