The room and bed were comfortable, with a full sized tv and plenty of storage.Breakfast was ok and cooked well. There was an easy ambience so that you could come and go at leisure. The tea making facility was kept well stocked. The owner was very pleasant and unintrusive. Despite the following comments, we had a pleasant and relaxing stay. The room was not totally clean on arrival - there was dust on the book shelves, nor was the room cleaned whilst we were there. The bed was very poorly made and looked, and smelled, as though it had already been slept in. Although "self-contained" noises travelled easily and the bedroom opened straight onto the breakfast room, so there was not a sense of privacy. The room had insufficient space for a chair so the only place to sit was the bed.

We had a wonderful stay at Rose Cottage and we will be returning soon. Everybody was so polite and friendly and the cottage itself is beautiful. Hospitality was excellent and location is perfect. We wanted a relaxing trip to get away for a while and Rose Cottage was absolutely perfect; being quiet and relaxing but also very close to the town and beach. We were also allowed to take our pet dog for which we are truly grateful. My fiancée and I had a lovely time and we can't wait to return, as she described it as 'home away from home'. Thank you very much. No dislikes at all - every single aspect of our stay was excellent and far exceeded any expectations we had.

Stayed in the down stairs room with the ensuite. This was a fantastic room , the bed was very comfortable the ensuite itself was almost larger than the bedroom with more than adequate space for luggage storage. The facility to watch dvds whilst in bed was great. The breakfasts were excellent. The whole experience was extremely good value for money. Not so much a dislike just a concern that the bedroom door could not be locked from the outside[ no lock/key]

We were warmly welcomed to Rose Cottage. The bed and bedroom was extremely comfortable. There was a lovely choice of breakfast in the morning and the whole pace of the b&b was relaxed and homely. We would definitely go back again - simply lovely!
