closeness to Hyde Park good price for central London
Room felt like a bomb bunker.
I asked for the room to be available earlier as my Mum was going to arriving 2 hours before check-in time. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. A bonus was the cooked breakfast, as we had thought that it would be continental. Quiet location and excellent value.
Location is good, near the railway station and underground.
The room is very small and not clean. Some big fans make noise in the night so I can't sleep. The staff can't solve the problem.
It is a standard Hotel, nothing special.
I was on a business trip and it was very annoying that the WiFi just properly worked in the lobby. I told my problems to the employes, but I guess in the end no one checked the Wifi Hotspot and I had no internet during my stay. I will never visit the hotel again.
WALK IN SHOWER.VERY GOOD. CLEAN COMFORTABLE BEDS (EVEN THO THERE WERE THREE BEDS IN THE ROOM). PLEASANT STAFF ON DESK(BOOKED A TAXI FOR US) ALSO STAFF AT BREAKFAST.
VERY POOR LIGHTING IN BEDROOM, NO BEDSIDE LAMP, ONLY ONE SIDE TABLE,NO CHAIRS IN ROOM. NO LOUNGE TO RELAX IN AFTER BREAKFAST.ONE CHAIR IN RECEPTION USED BY WOMAN ON COMPUTER. GLAD TO LEAVE.
Free Wifi, great breakfast, Most staff friendly and helpful. Really close to paddington station with pubs bars and restaurants near by. Decor was nice and had a peaceful nights sleep.
Slightly strange room, wanted a double and had a double bed with two smaller ones squeezed in the room, but wasn't really an issue. Felt we paid too much but as this is London its hard to judge.
Room cleaned to a high standard. Soom of the breakfast staff very curtious and polite. I would only use this hotel if in transit, eg 1 night stay while waiting for a connecting flight.
Small rooms. In need of refurbishment. Breakfast room like a works canteen.
Air conditioned and clean
Reception was unable to provide a functional remote for the television despite a dozen attempts over two days and numerous trips to reception. Room was the smallest I have ever stayed in - approximately 4 SM! Beautiful view of a basement light well.
Location - close to Paddington Station, Heathrow Express & restaurants. Our room was quite spacious
Front desk personnel on arrival were not at all welcoming. No lift to fifth floor so needed help with cases. No WiFi on fifth floor & lobby had only one chair if wanted to use Wi Fi there.
Full breakfast included with tariff and kitchen staff were lovely; reverse cycle air conditioner in room is a good idea for hot days as it can become very stuffy- windows do open; very clean and location was quiet and convenient with a lovely little park outside; walking distance to both Paddington and Lancaster Gate stations; internet café on the walk to Paddington station was handy when we needed to print tickets etc. Specifically asked not to be put in a basement room which was accommodated- we were on the 1st floor.
Although there was a lift it was of no use to us as the building is 2 terraces combined- the lift services one terrace only(which wasn't the one we were in). Like most London accommodation, the room was small, bathroom tiny but serviceable (shower only no bath);double bed pushed against a wall meant it was awkward for one person to get in and out during the nite hence disturbing the other person. One staff member a little unfriendly on the desk although I don't think this was intentional- just his manner.
Good location, close to transport
No hand towels provided, shower very small, no chair or small desk in room, no mini fridge to keep a cool drink, not sure how this hotel is 3 star...
The location was good as close to paddington station, Hyde park. We were also walking distance to buckingham station . Nice places to eat. Rooms were clean and well cleaned daily
I found the room was to small. The bathroom was so small you could not dry yourself coming out of the shower let alone shave your legs. The single beds we had were so small you could not roll In the bed . Your feet hung at the end of the bed and I'm not extremely tall .
Small selection for breakfast
Not much good location only
Breakfast poor Small rooms no fridge
Great location. Lovely rooms. Bathrooms immaculate. Price was great - managed to find a fabulous deal. Perfect for what I needed.
Near the Station Paddington. Fair Prais
The location right next to Paddington stn. The room was clean and modern, if a little small but it was at an affordable price.
Again the room was a little cramped.
Proximity to Paddington Station and restaurants & Cafes, buffet breakfast was good .
Rooms tended to be a little shabby and you could hear the people in the next room easily. I had a couple with a young child who would wake up a 4am every morning crying. bre
Cleanliness of rooms and helpfulness of reception staff.
The wonderful location and the incredibly friendly and helpful staff make this a really decent deal....we stayed here on our honeymoon, and returned this year
The redo of this hotel gave it very small bathrooms, AND should you get stuck in the basement or in a small room it is claustrophobic, for the price you are paying
Very clean hotel. Helpful staff booking a taxi for us. Lovely breakfast. Would return and recommend.
Location is very good. Very close to the lively Oxford Street and top attractions. Paddington Rail Station is five minutes away. Staff was very nice and helpful. Special thanks to Eemesh and Rachel.
The first room they put us in was extremely small and it was on the top floor which there was no lift up to that floor. But thanks to them after we complained and asked for a better room they changed our room although this room was also small. There was no chairs or proper cabinets in the room. We had to live our stuff in the baggages for 9 days. Also there is no luggage stand and we didn't know where to put our luggages and we used the top of the chest of drawer and floor. Breakfast could be more rich. Everyday it was the same. For example there was no cheese at all. It is also too expensive considering the value and the comfort of the hotel. I think the money is paid only for the location.
Very helpful, obliging staff. Lovely shower room, good telly! Most importantly an excellent breakfast!
