Great localization near Paddington and Hyde Park. Confortable and Nice. Good relation price/cust.
Breakfast not so good...
The location was very convenient for the purposes of my short stay in London, with easy access to Padington and the West End.
I did not particularly like the room, which a double and two single beds in it. The color scheme, decor/carpet was drab and dull.
Close to Paddington station with easy City access. Comfortable beds, great shower, lots of choice buffet breakfast with cereal, toast and full English.
Excellent location in a quiet area even though near to main road. Needed to be near the American Embassy as son had an early interview and hotel was well within walking distance. Great for getting back and forth from Paddington tube station to the buzzing centre of Piccadilly especially as had booked to go and see a couple of shows. The room although quite basic was spotless and perfect for a short stay. Would recommend.
Although the hot breakfast looked ok, I personally do not like buffet type breakfasts. Would have preferred to have been able to order on arrival.
Good location and pretty clean. View of Tabbot Square from room
Pretty small room but just what you pay for it.
Helpful staff and clean rooms. Near Paddington station and a quiet area.
Breakfast could have had more food to choose from example : cheese , ham .
Good price and convenient for a short stay.
We were visiting with friends and paid the same price for a room a quarter of the size. Our room could only be compared to a cupboard where we couldn't reach the wifi or look out of the window. Very disappointing.
The hotel was comfortable, the staff were pleasant and our room was of decent size with a nice and very clean en suite. The free breakfast was cooked, which is a huge advantage over many other hotels.
Unfortunately, the couple we were with (who booked the same thing and paid the same amount) got a much smaller, less comfortable room, which was very disappointing. Our bed was also two single beds pushed together as apposed to one double bed. So the experience may alter depending on which room you get.
-The Staff were very friendly - Clean room everyday - Comfortable bed -1 Min from Paddington Underground and bus station -You can store luggage for late departures
Breakfast is served from 7 to 9 and variety very limited
Your average London hotel but with upgraded bathrooms and a breakfast included.
We choose a hotel with WiFi. But it didn´t work that good in our room.
The staff cooperation
The wifi is very poor
the breakfast and fact the wi-f was working
- the elevator going to 4th floor when I was staying at 5th - this is unacceptable - the reception personnel who advised I should address booking.com if I want a plug in adapter - the smallness of the room and the fact that it had no view at all, being at the last floor
The location was great! A lot of restaurants in the area and it was very close to paddington station which both had the train and underground station! The breakfast was decent! Sausage, pork and beans, bacon, egg, cereal, orange juice, milk, toast. But it was the same thing everyday.
The wifi didn't reach some of the rooms. The elevator didn't always work on the 3rd floor. We had large luggages and we couldn't bring them up through the stairs so I had to go down to the first floor ride it from there to bring the elevator up to the 3rd floor.
The hotel is nicely maintained. It is small, as was the room, but clean and comfortable. The location is out of the way but still within reach of anyplace in London.
Room was a little small, as was the shower.
The guy at reception wasn't very happy.
The location really nice
Location and cleanliness
The breakfast was not enought full of differents kind of food
The location & the breakfast. Staff were very pleasant.
Single bed was too narrow & hard . Also hard pillows. Rooms too close to doors of other rooms & fire doors noise.
Quality of the food
Lack of space in room, had to climb over corner of bed to get to window.
Extremely noise pipes and water pumps. Every time someone flush the WC, you will we woken up by a annoying engine roaring and pipes clinking.
lots of nearby resteraunts and close to tube
had to wait to be let in half an hour on 2 evenings out of 3
Close to Station, looks nice from outside, staff seemed ok but not over friendly,
Paper thin walls, we had a triple room next to the Lift! avoid room 25, the walls were paper thin the neighbours in 24 smoked and we got the benefits at 4 in the morning when they came home. breakfast although plentiful was cold (nothing worse than cold bacon and fried egg).
Mostly very friendly staff.
Their "Cooked English Breakfast" is very reduced (no potatoes of any sort, no mushrooms). For vegetarians that leaves canned baked beans, canned tomatoes and fried eggs which consistently had uncooked egg white all over the top side. Very noisy in the first room we got due to AC/heating running all night for the whole hotel. They did change the room upon request. The explained to use that they had to put this type of system in because health and safety doesn't allow windows to open more than 6 inches. However, the windows did actually open all the way, so do not count on that in case you come with small children.
good location, a 15 min walk to oxford street. Clean room. Wifi.
Boring breakfast Not the best beds, small and hard
