Ideally located, Premier Inn Tonbridge is a short walk from Tonbridge Train Station and near Tonbridge Castle, providing the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area.

close to town
staff didnt seem intrested in gusets
Room was really nice...but ask to be in the main building as we were nearly sent yto their extra bit which is totally seperate fro hotel and not old and quaint.
Clean room, nice welcome basket
We had a terrible mattress and could feel the springs. The reading lights were coming off the wall as the rawlpugs had come loose - poor maintenance!
The car parking is a nightmare. The hotel is based on a very busy high street. The postcode takes you into a one way side street with no access to the carpark. It took me over 45-minutes until eventually I parked at front of hotel to get directions to car park when the staff stated that yes the postcode is different for the car-park . Why dont they state this on website because of this wont stop there again.
We had an unexpected occurance, and Lisa helped a great deal. The Hotel is friendly and comfortable, but outstanding customer service when we really needed it (r34) I'm biased but easily my favourite Hotel in Kent at the moment !
The place needs modernising and it's not very clean and the staff seemed very miserable ! The quality of the breakfast was very poor too, the location was ideal though so if things were to be improved i would stay but unless it does I won't be returning .
Staff helpful and room itself was clean and cosy.
The corridor, carpet, door surround and skirting boards were very shabby and did not give a good first impression,
Central location and quaint interior.
Traffic noise, all night flood lights and very small en-suite.
Helpful and friendly staff. Nice options in the dinner menu. Clean and comfortable room at good price
There was a very noisy party going on down in the courtyard below my bedroom window until quite late in the evening. Maybe Saturday nights are always like that?
Central location Free parking Friendly staff Reception area, restaurant & bar are stylish and comfortable.
Very expensive for the standard of the rooms, we saw 3 different rooms, all tired looking and basic. Extremely hot at night and uncomfortable small double bed. Breakfast should be included for the high price of the room as it's hardly gourmet food. Contacted hotel twice to request early check in, no one responded.
Bathroom ...outbuildings looked industrial
Good high street location good access to shops and resturants
Old building so not much could be done to alter it but it's creeky as you walk about
Liked the welcome of reception and although in the front of the hotel no noise
The carpets and fitting need some attention come on best western this hotel needs a facelift.
Building was rather 'tired'. Realise it is a very old building and hard to maintain but did feel that it could be spruced up a bit.
Located opposite castle near the river. Staff friendly, good breakfast.
Get the feeling from it could do with a bit of a makeover in the bedroom department at least.
Friendly staff well located for a ghost hunt we were doing at Tonbridge Castle Big bed Large room
poor cleanliness - particularly the bathroom. Poo in the toilet, used soap in the shower and hairs on the floor. Would only reccommend if it is just somewhere to get your head down.
Delightful staff Great breakfast Lovely old dining room
Rooms 'out back' in '70s extension Mouldy smell Like my old school buildings
Lack of shower in bathroom.
The location was perfect for where I needed to be.
It was cold and there was not an extra blanket, or heating I could of asked for one but I was too cold to go downstairs. I struggled with getting the shower to work and the flow was poor and difficult to get the temperature right.
Central Location Fair price for the area
Poor shower facility, just a trickle. Bathoom was a bit tired. Some "drain" type smells, Loo flush erratic. Wi Fi didnt work properly (room at far end of annex)
The staff were unfailingly courteous and helpful.
The sustained attitude of both staff and customers to the abuse of the fire doors which were invariably left open, to the danger of all of us. I made a fuss about this when I was last there over 4 years ago. I didn't make a fuss this time, I just shut them. I also disliked intensely the decoration of the bar/dining area, by covering up the beams with some sort of paint or wash. Hideous! Also the bedroom staff's cupboards were left open and they were not at all clean. I will not be staying with you again.
friendly and helpful staff, good food, terrific location
Old pub atmosphere
Poor state of the rooms. Tiny double bed In need of a total 're fit' Fine for commercial travellers My last stay under Trust Houses was over 40 years ago, nothing seemed to have been upgraded since then!
