Cordial staff, very attentive to services and personal needs. Helped us to locate stores or other needed services in the neighborhood. Did not mind when we were late for the scheduled breakfast. Hotel was a completely smoke-free environment. Easy electronic late night entry but felt that security was well set. |

Very good location - right next door to the Winter Gardens where we were seeing a band. Reception on arrival was very friendly. Clean spacious rooms. |

Convenient location near the tower and walking distance to shops, pier etc. The breakfast was good if you have a big appetite (2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 rashers bacon, mushrooms and beans!) or alternatively you could have scrambled or poached eggs or beans on toast. The kettle lead was to short to reach the socket so we had to boil the kettle on the carpet. The height of the shower was difficult to adjust without the whole thing coming apart and falling off the wall. |

The staff were very helpful and made you feel welcome on arrival. The room was clean and comfortable except the bathroom door kept sliding open as it was ill fit and when you have a family room with a teenage son it was not very appropriate nor convenient. However the service at breakfast was very good. I would recommend this hotel as a place to stay if you need to be close to winter gardens. |

Without requesting, as a couple (and not being part of a group), we were very kindly upgraded to the honeymoon suite, this was offered to us on arrival. breakfast very noisy with other groups of guests, but in fairness I suppose you expect an element of this with location |
