The property was clean and tidy. The food very good.
Excellent breakfast, welcome and room. Best value for money I've experienced in a long time.
Delicious breakfast, helpful staff, room with a sea view. Fantastic location p
Beds were set up for twin occupancy when we asked for double.
Staff very friendly and helpful, going out of your way to help i.e. Didn't arrive until 2300hrs but was there to welcome me. Breakfast was excellent.
Lovely, cute and comfy. Got a great view on the sea!
The room is comfort and clean, breakfast is good, everyone is kind in the house, it is more like a home, I really felt happy and peaceful there.
A comfortable room, all the essential facilities and excellent breakfasts. Neil provided me with wonderful walks for each of the four days of my staying.
A fantastic place to stay in a breathtaking location. I recommend Rosegarth without hesitation. I had an amazing room with luxurious en suite and my own front door complete with outside seating area overlooking the estuary. The breakfast was brilliant and the staff friendly and helpful. Fantastic!
A very comfortable B and B with lovely views. Good eating facilities within easy walking distance. Also close to Muncaster Castle. Would highly recommend.
The owner is professional and amusing at the same time, he helps in all he could and offers a very nice environment from welcoming to check-out. The guest-house is literally on the sea-front, offering a fantastic view. Rooms are of the right size, exceptionally well kept and clean. Despite the main wifi was down, he offered his own personal wifi to help customers. It is probably the best place I have been in the UK.
Simply nothing! Everything was amazing!
Neil and his whole team were friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Cumbrian breakfast was amazing. Beautiful views out to sea and we were fortunate to experience good weather and fab sunsets.Pleasant evening stroll to pub for dinner. Cycle storage available or hire next door.
En-suite rather small with toilet tucked under stair well - we are tall so had to remember to duck!! Worth mentioning if you are over 5'6".
Loved looking over the sea out of the windows , very good breakfast and hospitality loved the stay and definitely go back for longer.
We only stayed one night would of stayed longer if we had the time.
Nice clean, good condition guest house. Breakfast was very enjoyable and well presented. Staff always pleasant and helpful.
Bed was a bit soft for me but some people may prefer that.
The views the nearness of the railway station the welcome
We both loved the location and how quiet it was. There was a good pub a 5 minute walk away, who did good food and drinks and a good service. I would recommend this hotel for people who is looking for quietness and who loves good views and walks. I would recommend you to go on the ravenglass steam train. The hostess was welcoming as well, and made sure we was happy and enjoyed the breakfast.
Location; friendliness of host and staff; allowed to come and go all day. Breakfasts just wonderful with really good choice, well-presented. Extra touches appreciated. Comfortable bed and good standard of linen.
Room 3 lacked drawer space and only had an open hanging space. Sleep disturbed by creaking floor boards upstairs and could hear person in room next door coughing, but didn't deter from real enjoyment of this B and B..
Friendly and accommodating staff. Lovely breakfasts.
The view, the bed, powerful shower, friendly staff, peace and quiet at night. Good tea and coffee facilities.
As New Zealanders it was our first trip to the Lakes District. We would loved to have stayed longer. Owner was very helpful and memorable breakfast which stood out from other B & Bs.
Room lovely, tea/coffee facilities, lovely comfortable bed, breakfast was excellent, Neil the owner was a top gent and the price is very good....amazing location for the lakes and climbing scafell pike, great end, gable etcetcetc....BRILLIANT
We got a very friendly greeting, and the friendliness continued all the time with all the staff. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed, there were little extra touches that made our stay special, like a bowl of sweets, and tissues in the rooms, even a pair of binoculars to make use of the estuary views. the food was excellent with a good choice. altogether a great place to stay.
We could not think of anything that we didn't like
Looks out over the estuary. Fantastic sunset matched by Neil and his relaxed, professional approach to all his guests. His advice and help on local walks and mountains was invaluable. Breakfast was good and generous.
Loved the bedroom and the bed I wanted to bring home - extreme comfort. Lovely breakfast. Extremely friendly staff Next door to a Real Ale Pub which specialised in fish cuisine - not posh but certainly friendly, just lovely . Stunning views and close to the cute railway
Nothing really was we had a very enjoyable weekend break.
