Such a pleasant experience just being there, especially as Burnley itself is so dire.

The bed was fabulous and comfy and the bathroom was lovely. The meal in the dining room was gorgeous and such good value, my partner said it was the best beef bourginone he'd ever had.

Couldn't find it as there was only one large sign at the other entrance so we had to drive around to find it.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Costs were extremely reasonable.

Decor and interior looks a little dated

Great old school hotel, lots of character and easy to walk into Burnley. Staff really helpful and friendly. Great breakfast.

Burnely town centre is a bit of a dump

The decor in the reception area could be better to create a better atmosphere and better impression which the hotel warrants.

I always stay at rosehill house when on business in burnley. The hotel has a real charm about it, the bedrooms are great and the staff are absolutely wondefull, a real credit to the hotel. I have stayed in all the hotels in burnley and this is by far the best in terms of service and value for money. The cooked breakfast is included in the price and is really good aswell.

We have stayed at the rosehill several times now and as usual the staff are fantastic and the hotel is excellent.

The room we stayed in this time was slightly awkward with headroom but it was still a fantastic room.

The building is beautiful and very conveniently situated

The decor is tired. The bread creaked terribly. The breakfast doesn't have enough choice, or more modern breakfast requirements

Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. My room was a single so I wasnt expecting much but it was fine.

Location. Though it was set within attractive immediate grounds, the hotel was approx a mile walk from town centre, situated on a steepish hill, so not-ideal for people who cant walk well. Bed not made up properly for second night, the top covers were simply pulled over leaving crumpled and untucked sheets beneath.

A very nice elegant hotel that offers comfortable surroundings and a taste of a bygone era, beautiful interior decor and excellent food. Staff are extremely helpful and polite & I will certainly be staying here again, particularly as it offers all this at a superb level of value.

Lovely building and beautiful decor, keeping to the age of the property and surroundings. I was amazed at the dining room fireplace and other wonderful features.

This hotel was beautiful, from the gold leaf ceilings to the huge stained glass windows and marble fireplaces. The staff, well I have never had better service anywhere else, they really are very friendly and highly efficient. I loved this hotel and will be back very soon. Thank you Rosehill House.

rosehill hotel comes up from nowhere by satnav, but what a pleasant place to stay, fantastic oldy worldy decor , will defo stay here if in the region again.

The girl on reception and she also served breakfast was extremely efficient, friendly and professional. I think her name was Jeanie.

The hotel felt haunted because of the decoration and the figure at the top of the stairs. Too much clutter and too many artificial flowers everywhere and headless China dolls were unnecessary.

I liked the cosy lounges downstairs with the open fires. The dining room was inviting in the evening. The staff were very obliging.

The cold smelly and dirty conservatory area we had to pass through to get to our room. Our room was in need of a little TLC.

I loved the way that the hotel was modern but kept ot a lot of the old features of a 19th Century building. Staff very freindly and helpfull at all times.

The pillows in the bedroom were very hard, checked warddrobe and there were spare quilts but no pillows. Need a choice of pillows as not everybody likes a firm one.
