One of the best stays away from home ever
We were made to feel welcome and at home. Some great advice on things to do locally- nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a great weekend get a way.
Before our arrival the owner rang to ask our arrival time so he could have the fire on to warm the cottage, great service as we had a 5 week old baby with us!
Breakfast not included in cottage price, but kitchen was great and supermarket next door!
Excellent hospitality, luxurios bath, breakfast fantastic
Having to leave

Loved our stay, fantastic.
Everything especially a very warm welcome on a very stormy night when Jim and Tracey provided toasted sandwiches for us to save going out. It was lovely as was the fresh fruit and fresh squeezed juice in the morning.
We had a wonderful time last weekend. Incredibly friendly hosts and other guests. The breakfast selection was very impressive, comfortable bed, complementary hamper. Overall a great weekend.
Had a wonderful night, was made to feel very welcome. The breakfast was excellent. Thank you
Excellent Breakfast with hospitality second to none.
Leaving to come home
The welcome from Jim was fantastic. Accommodation was excellent - couldn't recommend this place highly enough.
Nice people, good breakfast flexible for our well being rooms and furniture as new and well equipped
No bathtub in my room, only shower
All of it. Location, bedroom, bath, shower, breakfast, welcoming hosts, onsite parking.
Every single thing
It was very very good in all areas
Nothing not to like
Everything about this place is likeable. From the moment of booking, a personal e-mail began the long-list of things right with Jim & Tracy. Too often you hear that nothing is too much trouble, but here it really is true. Breakfast is exceptional, accommodation is outstanding, the hosts are probably the nicest and most genuine hosts you can ever come across. I even got a birthday song, card and "cake". PLEASE DO NOT GO PAST THIS WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY
Absolutely everything was great. From the moment we arrived we were treated like old friends rather than paying guests. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were well equipped and the breakfast was outstanding.
There is nothing not to like about a Rosemount House.
The central location was perfect for exploring the area around Ayr, and within walking distance of the center of Ayr and the train station. The home has been beautifully restored with luxurious bedrooms and a wonderful outdoor sitting area and garden. Rick and Tracy were very fun and gracious hosts, and we would highly recommend this B&B if you are staying in the Ayr area.
Nothing to fault - wonderful B&B!
I loved my stay at Rosemount. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. Jim even drove us around Ayr to get our bearings and then dropped us off in Alloway at the Burns museum - way above and beyond! The food was delicious and the picnic hamper of tea, coffee, and cookies was delightful. They even brought us up a breakfast hamper the night before we left since we would be leaving before dining room cooked breakfast was served! We also very much enjoyed chatting with the owners in the evening over a couple of drinks. I would love to return to Ayr and stay at Rosemount again! Can't say enough about this place.
Jim and Tracie go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. The best part of the experience, however, is the evenings in the parlor or in the back garden. They encourage their guests to meet each other, and facilitate that with their own participation. We had three marvelous evenings conversing with couples from around the UK and the world. The fact that it was the week before the Scottish independence election only sweetened the pot. Jim told me he wants it to feel like a night out with friends, and he succeeded as far as we were concerned. The facilities are excellent and without problem, but one can get excellent food and facilities many places. The experience that Jim and Tracie have available for their guests is one-of-a-kind in our travels.
Made to feel very welcome. Lovely room and bathroom. Very high standard of cleanliness. Great breakfast. Overall excellent standard.
Nothing but we'd have liked our stay to be longer.
