We were on business, and had to leave early in the morning, before breakfast, so the hotel provided us with a continental breakfast to take to our room for the morning so that we could still eat before the breakfast serving times
Room needs a total upgrade to modern decorative order .Very poor sound insulation.Bed needs new replacement.
Short walk to the pick up point for the Enchanted Forest event. Intimate, cosy family atmosphere. By prior arrangement, our evening meal was served at 8pm; able to cater for specialist diet and food needs of small child; good choice of starters and mains. Excellent selection for breakfast.
The water pressure in the shower was poor.
Local taxis fully booked - hotel owner took us to theatre and organised return transport. Food freshly cooked. all staff helpful and pleasant.
Minor blip - shower and kettle in our room were not working.
"A lovely quiet stay, everything needed to provide a comfortable and relaxing visit. The fact that we were allowed to take the dogs into the bar with us was an added bonus. A wonderful breakfast provided with loads of choice and staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant."
Actually there wasn't anything not to like.
staff very friendly and helpful
The friendliness, professionalism attentiveness of all the staff which was the best I have experienced in some long time. They were Rumanian & Hungarian and an absolute credit to their country. (I wish some of the Brits would learn from them!)
Only a small amount of basic maintenance needed with the bathroom fittings loose on the wall and a fan that ran for a very long time after turning off. Everthing else was very good indeed.
Could have got a much cheaper deal if I didn't book early
It was nice and clean and the staff very friendly
The room was to small
Cleanliness Food Attentiveness of staff
Too firm mattress for us caused poor sleep. Toilet/shower room had many faults including loose tap, downward pointing shelf, warped door causing it not to shut, toilet taking up to 3 flushes and at other times dripping constantly. The room was extremely small and dated but it was one of the cheapest rooms. Pictures of the expensive rooms looked nice.
Good size rooms, and friendy staff and very good food.
Doorstep personality could be better. (outside needs a freshen up)
Room too far away from entrance which is at the otherside of the building on approaching it!
The room was nice & Pitlochry it's self was beautiful
The hotel staff had no personality, I found them very wooden. We arrived a little early & were told to leave until check in at 3pm. I found this a little rude as their is actually a lounge or a bar we thought we'd be welcome to use, but apparently not!! Food was mediocre for the price & I wasn't sure some of it wasn't just bulk standard frozen
Clean, tidy, friendly staff
Bathroom was dated
Stayed in Junior Suite, was great for us (family 2 boys aged 1 & 4), really comfortable and spacious. Breakfast table specially set up for us in morning. Knowledgeable staff on arrival recommending places to visit in Pitlochry.
Could have done with a bath for us boys not great fans of showers!
It was a clean, warm and friendly hotel. Excellent breakfast and good evening meal.
Limited wine choice (a choice of 2 reds). Strict evening meal time (between 6 and 8pm). Poor water pressure in the shower.
I liked the high ceiling & king size bed
The shower & bathroom was a bit small
Everything. The staff were fantastic and very attentive
The menu was poor and the same every day -we were there 5 days
Warm welcome. Hotel was clean and comfortable, Breakfast was good.
Dinner menu not very interesting, with same vegetables provided 2 nights running.
Im traveling a lot throughout the world but this was the worst hotel ever. Had to make use of public shower as the shower was broken. The washing sink was cracked. Toilet didnt flush. Window armature broke during opening window. Beds are 1,80mm long and from the 60'ties. Room was completely pink. Doors are from sheet plate and did close well. Very noisy. This for £80!?!
Had maintenance repair the shower during our evening meal at 7pm. The chef made a dessert than was not on the menu specially for us. Polite staff.
Squeaky floorboards from the room above.
Staff were quite helpful when we arrived before check in time
not everything was in working order in the room - bathroom light and shower door. my friends in a different room found their shower cord did not reach the hook so had to hold it over their heads with one hand. Not idea for what isn't a cheap hotel.
