Just a 5 minute walk from Bowness and 12 minutes from Windermere train station, the Rosemount Guest House offers traditional accommodations and breakfast, as well as free on-site parking. The decor is classic, honoring the charms of the Victorian building. All rooms have a flat-screen TV and have a private bathroom (either attached, or separate). A full English breakfast is available and features local and Fair Trade ingredients, including sausages and bacon from Woodall's of Waberthwaite. Rosemount is less than a mile from the World of Beatrix Potter, the Windermere Steamboat museum and Lake Windermere. Hotel Rooms: 8

Our second stay at The Rosemount and we weren't disapointed. The newly refurbished room was comfortable, clean and of a high standard. The breakfast, as always well cooked and hearty. The hosts, Andrew and Louise are both friendly and extremely professional, the Guest House is vey well run and a pleasure to stay in. We would highly recommend thsi to anyone wishing to visit The lakes, it's a great base to start from and central to the whole area.

Cleanliness and attention to detail was fantastic. The bedroom and en suite were pristine and very relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and the family were very welcoming and informative about local area and ideas for our time there. We had a lovely relaxing weekend and will defiantly return to Rosemount Guest House and recommend it to friends.

Friendly staff. Very clean and well decorate. Room numbers did not correspond to booking.Com so was confusing. Breakfast times very restrictive for a weekend break. Room advertised as spacious. On viewing the others rooms which were opened would argue this is not the case.

we had a fantastic time on our 2 night stay at rosemount guest house. the owners were so friendly and helpful. the rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. overall a perfect place to escape normal life and relax! and we got engaged in the hotel!!! fantastic winter break

We really enjoyed our stay at Rosemount, the owners are a lovely young couple who were very friendly and welcoming, which made us relax and feel at home. The house is very nicely decorated, in a tasteful, modern way yet complementing the character of the building. It is also immaculately clean, with outstanding quality bathrooms and showers. The breakfast was great too, what more could you ask of a b&B. We would definately like to stay there again.

This place was nothing as described on their website is was better.. Location is excellent with eating facilities very close. I would stay there again at the drop of a hat. The owners were very help, and the fact that if you stay more than 2 nights you have acess to the local spa hotel and gym was a bonus. My only issue was my bin was not emptied the on one night and I was not left any shower gell but I did bring some of my own anyway but 10/10 they will see me again forsure.

Our room and breakfast facilities were excellent, however the thing I liked most was the staff. Rosemount Guest House is run by a young family that really goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome and help you make the most of your visit to the lakes.

Loved this place. The staff were really friendly, and the room was lovely. Clean, well decorated and very comfortable. Free wi-fi and full english breakfast was included, it was only a short walk into the town of Windermere. The range of DVD's available to watch in the rooms was a nice touch.

It was located close to Windermere and Bowness and within short driving distances of other areas of the eastern lakes. The car park was very small. The room did not match the one booked online.

I enjoyed the personal and very warm and welcoming contact with the owners of Rosemount Guest House! They showed me some very good walks around the area! All rooms are specially designed and the breakfast is great! :-) a very good choice for a b&b in Windermere!:-) Thanks again!

Friendly staff and spotlessly clean room. Although I had no prob with it being an 'attic' room I found the dormer window/lack of a view a bit claustrophobic and the noise from the road early in the am off-putting.
