Great location for shops and promenade. Staff helpful. Delicious breakfast. Some updating required. Parking could be a problem especially in busy summer season. Very quiet in winter - bar not open.

It was a genuine value for money weekend. It's not a luxury hotel but it is clean, tidy with a very friendly staff, Dave on reception gave us a free room upgrade. There are cheaper hotels but you won't get anything like this!. There are more expensive hotels but they won't be as good value as this! If I'm in Llandudno again I'd definatley go back there!

Nice and near to town centre. Breakfast was very enjoyable and set us up for the day. We didn't know at the time of booking that the hotel had a restaurant and we missed out because it was fully booked.

Location is good for shops and the beach.Bed comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The room was small and basic,The bathroom was in need of renovation and not like the picture on the web site.We were disappointed that the Carvery was not avilable on a Sunday. There is not enough information regarding this fact on the web site.

We enjoyed our stay, but the first room we were given was very tiny and the bathroom was tiny which had carpet in it, we asked if we could change to a better room to which luckily there was one spare, it was alot better but the bathroom was not very clean, there was no shampoo etc, only two bars of soap that wern't in wrappers. Breakfast was really nice, the room was very nice, we had poached eggs and they were the best that I have ever tasted and the staff were very nice.

Excellent breakfast, good location, good staff, good location to stay for local places to visit, area has not been spoilt by amusement arcades etc. Decor could be updated a little ,room was comfortable but hotel is value for the money. Parking sometimes a problem due to restrictions and traffic wardens mainly.

The location was great and the staff were very polite and friendly. The hotel is directly opposite some really nice resteraunts and bar so we were never too far away. The double bed wasnt really big enough but thats only a small thing- we really enjoye dit there and would recommend it to others.

Fantastic staff, breakfasts and location that would put most 4 star hotels to shame. Friendly service all round. The hotel is basic but great value -- our family would return. The hotel is a two-minute walk from the beach and pier. It is close to the shops, pubs and eateries. A great hotel. Noisy out the front at night due to seagulls, delivery lorries etc etc. Limited parking duration in front of hotel 10.30am--4.30pm, other times are ok.

Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Great location The only downside was the front facing rooms were very noisy at night, no fault of the hotel, public houses open later consequently noisy.

We only had a 2 night stay over the Bank Holiday weekend, but found this hotel like a very pleasant place to stay. The owners were very friendly. Good base for exploring local area: the Happy Valley and Great Orme Country Park are 10 minutes by walk! The breakfast was excellent!! a little bit noisy at night

On arrival staff very welcoming and made you feel comfortable straight away. Breakfast was excellent and the carvery was very well priced, staff could not do enough to accomodate you and were very friendly. Room was comfortable with a 4poster bed and the location was excellent for local amenities, however with the carvery and bar at the hotel there was no need to go elsewhere. Will definitely return.

On one of the days we were there we visited Anglesey{not to spy on the newly weds as we knew they were in Canada] but to visit places we had taken our children to 40 years ago.. The island is still very beautiful. Another day we visited the Bodnant Gardens wonderful. At other times we went on the train to the summit of the Great Orme. There is always plenty to do in Llandudno. We arrived to a very warm welcome from our Host. He explained all the things he thought would be useful car parking etc. Our room with a four poster bed was delightful as it overlooked the main street so there was always plenty to watch. Dining roo m and waitress service was good.

“Price and location were amazing, I only used the hotel as a place to sleep. The rest of the time I was around the town, fields and hills. Complimentary breakfast was delicious, staff were very accommodating. Building is currently being upgraded, so I was happy to see what was old, what is new, and what I can expect the next time I book to go there.” Robert, Guelph, Ontario |
