The hotel was situated close to local attractions - Llandudno itself was beautifully clean and tidy, as was the hotel. The room/bathroom were quite compact but pleasant. Younger children are not allowed which was great for us - a nice quiet break. The breakfast was superb with plenty of choice! We are in our forties but most of the guests were older - I don't think younger couples would have felt comfortable - but then again it's an older person's place to visit generally.

I did not like anything about the hotel really was so dissapointed with my stay. The male owner complained to us about the price he gets for our stay. He said in a loud voice as we were booking in, oh you got in on the cheap deal. I find this quite inappropriate. When my husband asked for extra pillows, he said oh, now my laundry bill will be more. I felt very unomfortble the whole of the stay. We was going to go home after the first night, but my husband talked me into staying. He regretted afterwards though because we wrer kept awake alnight by the noise. We did not know where the noise came from. We wrer glad to be on our way home. Sue Ambrose

We received a very warm welcome on arrival at the Rose Tor and although we had had meals there before had never stayed at the hotel. Our room was very comfortable and warm with the bonus of a bath as well as a shower. We had two bar meals and the Saturday carvery and all were excellent. Traditional home cooking. We would definitely stay again and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends.

Excellent hotel, far exceeded expectations. Staff were exceptional, food amazing and fantastic value. Would definitely stay here again. I have travelled on business in four star hotels that haven't even come close to the service offered at this hotel.

This is a family run business. Husband and wife team, both are brilliant with clients, they are ever so pleasant and down to earth. The staff are brilliant. The rooms were cleaned and serviced everyday. The rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean. I would most certainly go back to this hotel. In fact Im considering booking again for May 2012. To David and Yvonne thank you very much for making our stay a very memorable one. May God bless you, your family and your staff for your love, dedication and committment to making our stay with you, one of the best and most treasured.

It was a genuine value for money weekend. It's not a luxury hotel but it is clean, tidy with a very friendly staff, Dave on reception gave us a free room upgrade. There are cheaper hotels but you won't get anything like this!. There are more expensive hotels but they won't be as good value as this! If I'm in Llandudno again I'd definatley go back there!

Nice and near to town centre. Breakfast was very enjoyable and set us up for the day. We didn't know at the time of booking that the hotel had a restaurant and we missed out because it was fully booked.

Location is good for shops and the beach.Bed comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The room was small and basic,The bathroom was in need of renovation and not like the picture on the web site.We were disappointed that the Carvery was not avilable on a Sunday. There is not enough information regarding this fact on the web site.

Excellent breakfast, good location, good staff, good location to stay for local places to visit, area has not been spoilt by amusement arcades etc. Decor could be updated a little ,room was comfortable but hotel is value for the money. Parking sometimes a problem due to restrictions and traffic wardens mainly.

Fantastic staff, breakfasts and location that would put most 4 star hotels to shame. Friendly service all round. The hotel is basic but great value -- our family would return. The hotel is a two-minute walk from the beach and pier. It is close to the shops, pubs and eateries. A great hotel. Noisy out the front at night due to seagulls, delivery lorries etc etc. Limited parking duration in front of hotel 10.30am--4.30pm, other times are ok.

“Our hosts were very welcoming and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Kevin gave us valuable information on places to visit, including maps, guides and books. The hotel is in an excellent location for the beach, pubs/restaurants, shops and the Orme. The room, particularly the bathroom, was spotlessly clean (very important to the wife). More like staying with friends than a B&B.” Stuart, Swinton |
