Only stayed for one evening, as I had business early the next morning in Bridgwater. Everyone was very welcoming and more than happy to help with any requirements. Local Pub was very nice. VERY oldy worldy, but the food was good. Nice warm room. Comfortable bed, WiFi worked fine and a hot powerful shower.
There was nothing to dislike. Very accommodating with our needs. Extremely comfortable room to come back to with gorgeous views.
As with previous reviews we liked the house and owners. Near M5 so perfect overnighter. Local pub good for food.
Area flat and dull but probably better in summer.
It is a wonderful base to discover the beauty of Somerset's nature. Strongly suggest to stay for a couple days.
Some country roads are narrowerer and driving needs to be slightly careful at night.
We loved it here. Hope to stay again soon.Good breakfast with plenty of selection. Wonderful view of the Mump from the bedroom window.
Excellent facilities and great breakfast!
My wife and I had a wedding to attend nearby so decided to find a local B&B. We could not of been luckier than finding Rosewood House to stay. We were warmly welcomed by Catherine. The double room was spacious and had a nice view. The breakfast was cooked to perfection, with plenty of choice. Was a shame to leave. Would definitely be our 1st choice when visiting Somerset.
Not a thing to dislike.
We had a nice stay at Rosewood House. The breakfast was lovely and lots of it. I would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay.
We didn't dislike anything.
I liked every single thing: I strongly recommend it to everyone wanting to spend a lovely weekend.
Friendly host and comfortable room. In walking distance to a great little country pub.
Nothing we can think of.
Not much i can say really, we travel to Bridgwater a lot and like to try different B&B's, we loved everything about Rosewood House, the location, the hosts the room & the view, would not hesitate to stay here again or to recommend to anyone.
Warm welcome, lovely room, beautiful location, friendly owners - looking forward to going back there !
Just what we wanted for a quiet weekend away from home. Excellent hosts, accommodation clean and comfortable, friendly dog and two cats for company, top quality breakfast. Local pub (King Alfred) very good food.
Bit off the beaten track.
The owners are very friendly and they did really care about our travel and sightseeing plans, trying to make our stay in the area a great experience. We enjoyed the breakfasts served by the host. The B&B is away from the street, absolutely quiet.
There's nothing to not like. We thought that a small table to eat or drink at in the room would have been nice.
Very comfortable in a fully fitted self catering annex with our daughter and puppy, much enjoyed our short stay. Splendid view from the balcony and dawn walks with the dog along the River Parrot. Dog loved it.
Very nice hosts and clean and comfortable accommodation.
A lovely welcome. Good coffee, great breakfast. Out room was very well decorated and set out. Very clean and inviting. The owners are very helpful and I would definitely stay here again
With a view to the Burrow Mump, this B&B has an understated charm. Catherine was kind and helpful. She makes a great English breakfast, and went the extra mile for us.
friendly welcome and setting of property. lovely and clean and lovely breakfat
The hosts were so nice and the breakfast was fantastic. They gave us all the info we needed and provided us with outdoor equipment for an outdoor concert... The B&B is 20 min form Wells which a gorgeous littel town with a really nice market! We really had areat stay
Friendly owners who supplied very good breakfast. Will certainly return to this address when in the area!
A little disappointed how far it was situated from Bridgewater!
This place is like a home from home, fully kitted out with everything you would ever need for self catering, even down to a wine stopper! Big tv, dvd with dvds, sound system with cds and even a selection of reading books. Plenty of storage space. Utility room with washer and dryer! Best power shower we've ever had, good quality toiletries. Great balcony view
The accommodation is part of a private house with gated driveway, having to open and close the gates everytime you went out or came in was a pain. Hot water is on economy 7, so you have to remember to manually turn the timer on the emersion heater if you wanted hot water during the rest of the day, as it will be cold after 2 adults have had a shower in the morning. Balcony area could do with a gate to stop dogs or children going down the steps!
We stayed for 3 nights in early July at Hector's Barn which is the upstairs unit having great views of the countryside & Burrow Mump. Very good location for travelling around the region. Would recommend using the Tesco supermarket in Langport for supplies. The unit was clean, very comfortable & had everything we needed plus it was an easy walk to the local pub. Catherine & Ken were very hospitable & we wouldn't hesitate in recommending this as a great spot for a relaxing few days.
Only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.
Everything. Hosts were delightful. The room made us feel special. Breakfast was big.
Lovely hosts, very welcoming
