Score from 517 reviews Very good
A 5-minute drive from the centre of Londonderry, this B&B offers free Wi-Fi and free off-street parking. A health and fitness suite with pool facilities is just a 2-minute walk away.
Score from 54 reviews Wonderful
Five Oaks is a family-run B&B with free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. It has a tranquil location surrounded by local country trails and parks, close to the Ness and Every woods.
Score from 30 reviews Wonderful
Within walking distance of pub with good food. Which ment I was able to let car at B&B
Narrow entrance driveway
The owner was very helpful and put himself out to oblige.
The staff were super friendly and very accommodating. Would definitely be back again, this was my 3rd year staying with them and will be back next year.
Owner helpful. Breakfast was good
Sleeping accomodation and bathroom. The advert gave impression accommodation was in house as shown but was actually in converted stables and description of place was false and a mess
The picture shows a beautiful house - inviting What you get is just the opposit the house looks run down and the yard is extremely on kept. We anticipated staying in the house but were taken to their converted cartage house this is not mentioned in the ad. The ro had very little to offer the tv didn't have cable just a small portable antenna. The bathroom was so small a large person would never fit I am 5'3" and a size 8 when sitting on the toilet my knees were hitting the sink the shower is so small it was ridiculous . The amenities in the room coffee tea were in a basket and looked like it had never been refreshed the heat for the room was a small portable heater that was to small for the room so it was ineffective. There were only a couple of outlets and they were all I'm use. There was no blow dryer in the room which the add clearly states there is. It seems they are only in it for the money they can make and put no effort into it. The place is way out of the way and definately not worth the effort. We stayed in many b and b while we spent our 2 weeks in Ireland and they were all wonderful experiences except for our stay at Roslea. My best advice is stay away from this b and b
Host was mostly not around, grounds were unkempt, weeds everywhere and grass not mown, room was dirty. Foreign staff very inexperienced and could hardly speak English. Breakfast very poor
Kevin was very good especially with giving us ideas where to go. Breakfast was good apart from just getting one cherry tomato but my wife is a vegetarian and they catered well for her.
We had two rooms as our grown up kids were with us, it was lucky we new each other as they didnt have a hair dryer so borrowed ours. Also are rooms were not cleaned very well with mould in the bathroom and the tea and coffee facilities were not filled up after our first night and glasses not cleaned.
The rooms are spacious, the hosts very nice and helpful, the breakfast delicious -- and by car the place is only about 5 minutes away from the city centre and still quiet.
Breakfast; owners very friendly; lovely area; close to the city
staff very friendly, good location, food ok
a little difficult to find ... the 1.st time ... :)))
Kevin and Staff were really friendly, quiet location not far from city with good car parking, taxi fares are cheap.Room was spacious and clean
Unsuite was very small
It was not value for money
A very warm welcome from Niamh, a lovely breakfast and chat from Kevin .....a very spacious room ....a plus for us was the bike lane at the end of the road which brought us right into the centre of this fascinating city
Clean, close to the city and the hosts were great. Breakfasts were wonderful. Kevin and Gerry couldn't have been more helpful advising on where to eat and what to visit, booking taxis and generally treating us like old friends. Thanks from all six of us.
Everything was perfect
We enjoy te stay very much..... I will recommend it to my friends.
a bit hard to find it.....
Proprietors were very friendly, kind and helpful. The breakfasts were substantial. Rooms were light, spacious and comfortable. It was also very peaceful.
Without a car the accommodation was a little bit far from the city centre, but very good as a place to tour from.
-Large spacious room for all the family -Great breakfast -Easy going owners and chatty -Historical house
The room was big and well furnished. The setting is superb, and the location is very convenient provided you have a car (as we did). The breakfast left nothing to be desired. The owner was very hospitable. Real value for money, heartily recommended.
Owners were friendly and helpful, though their daughter could take a cue from their demeanour. Great sized room, with comfortable beds. Walking distance from reasonable pub/restaurant.
The grounds of this B&B are quite overgrown and unkempt which does not give a good impression. Unfortunately this was borne out by some of the facilities of the room we stayed in - toilet cistern cracked and wheels on the electric heater broken, (but both still working), broken panes of glass in the windows, mould in the shower recess. Also some of the breakfast crockery was chipped or dirty.
