Wonderful stay we had excellent room with sea view breakfast excellent . Staff were friendly
Restaurant was a bit pricey and not a lot of parking .
Staff were very attentive when needed and friendly. Room was lovely.
Restaurant over priced for quality of food.
Everything about the hotel was excellent - spotlessly clean, well appointed with pleasing decor and staff who were never less than polite and helpful. We stayed for only one night (for a family function close by) and did not dine in the evening but Breakfast the following morning was all that one could ask for. Our room was on the ground floor overlooking the sea front (though the view across the estuary there is somewhat industrial). The room was large as was the bed, and altogether very comfortable.
Only the parking which was extremely difficult. The parking area is divided into two areas with separate entrances in different streets which could, and for convenience, should be inter-connected - there appeared to be a shortage of the necessary spaces.
Went for a chill weekend away.. The hotel and staff made the experience even better. Highlight the excellent breakfast in the morning (yes I am a man.. Lol) and the quality service we received whilst there.
Southend on Sea itself needs more quality restaurants and more nearby the hotel
Room comfortable and clean
Restaurant rather slow service.
price of drinks, lack of seating in bar area
Lovely sea view from dining area and our room. Surprisingly quiet as it was so near to a main road. Lovely happy helpful staff.
The bed was a little too soft.
The room,bed,food and service
I really enjoy executive room with sea view and the breakfast following morning are one of the best in my life. Included in room price. 5*
The smell from bins at the back of hotel close to car park. This bin storage should be moved away from building

LOCATION, FRIENDLY STAFF
NO AIR CONDITIONING
All encounters with staff were good; friendly and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. The view of the beach at breakfast was great.
No negatives for me.
The bed was very comfortable and had balcony with a sea view . Breakfast was of a very high standard
Everything was perfect
Friendly staff Good location Pleasant rooms Attractive public rooms
Cramped car park
The restaurant, staff, bar.
Staff, food, room
Getting a parking space was difficult.
Very good location with car parking Friendly staff Good breakfast service
Bad smell from the rubbish each time we entered our accommodation in the separate block of suites. The bed mattress was not the best. Restaurant is expensive for pretty good but not excellent cuisine
From first walking through the doors of the Roslin, my stat was a fantastic experience. Staff were brilliant, so friendly and helpful. Room was small, but for a single person it was all that I needed.
I like every details of this hotel, very happy, highly recommended
The breakfast was excellent with a vast choice. There was plenty of choice to suit everyone.
The bed in our room was of poor quality. It was extremely noisy and creaked loudly just touching it. It meant we had very little sleep during our two nights stay. We did complain to the management but nothing was done to try to rectify the problem.
Nothing about the hotel
room 110, depressing dark room, view out to a small roof area, overlooked by windows all round. No air conditioning, poor facilities, bed and furnishing. Way overpriced at £115.
