Room was lovely, with a sea view and a patio. Staff very very nice and helpful and the buffet breakfast was superb. Would definately stay again, perhaps in the summertime so that the most could be made of the location. |

A convenient location for Southend-on-Sea and the surrounding area. We could hear the television from the restaurant area below all night long. It was not loud enough to wake us but noticeable evry time you did stir during the night. |

Attend a family event being held nearby No, it was a lovely hotel, very friendly, extremely helpful. We couldn't really fault it. I did not read other guest reviews when I booked it. We visited as family with elderly parents (90 years). They loved it too. |

Our stay at this hotel was extremely pleasant. We booked a small double room and upon arrival the hotel was not fully booked and so the lady on reception kindly moved us to a slightly bigger room at no further cost. The room was completely out of the way and the bed and duvet and pillows were so comfortable and I can honestly say we had the best nights sleep. We quite often stay in hotels and the beds are just average but these were just lovely and comfy. Breakfast in the morning was a lovely experience. We sat in the breakfast room with the sun beaming in and with a sea view and the selection of foods were great (and even included healthy yoghurts/fruit and cereal which was great for me as i'm on weight watchers). All in all, excellent! The only negative (which wasn't really applicable to us) was the distance from the centre as it's a bit of a trek but there is plenty of parking closer to town for those who don't like a long walk. |

Good position, clean, light, well appointed room, helpful staff, pleasant conservatory bar/dining area. Our room was very hot, even with the radiators switched off we had to keep the window open a little. |
