Staff and service - very friendly and helpful

Roslyn B&B is absolutely superb. Nicely located near the main street of Pateley Bridge with parking slots right next to it. The house is spotless and very comfortable. My wife who never sleeps well outside our home slept like a baby in the very comfortable bed. The owner are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms was spotless and nicely decorated. In the morning the breakfast was perfectly coked. I can't think any way the service could be improved.

Although the owners were taking their annual holiday, we were left in the friendly and capable hands of Jess and Oliver. Very warm and friendly welcome, with comfortable rooms and excellent Full English breakfast. Plenty of local restaurants and pubs in Pateley Bridge to choose from.

We had a lovely relaxing weekend break. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty to choose from. Our room was comfortable and warm and the staff were friendly.

The staff are really friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, even lending us some spare towels for gorge walking. The B&B itself is on a quiet road parallel to Pately Bridge High Street, but close enough that you don't walk far for a meal. Our room was huge and came with complimentary chocolate (Cadbury's!), and, unlike most B&Bs, the bed was really comfortable! The breakfast was great too and they served big fluffy pancakes with syrup.

Everything! A real home-from-home. We were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. The room was immaculate and spotlessly clean. The guest lounge was very comfortable and the whole place was tastefully decorated. Breakfast was superb with options ranging from fresh fruit, cereals and yogurt through to the fabulous 'full English'. Lawrence and Liz, the owners, did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable and trouble-free and the hospitality they offered was second-to-none. The house was two minutes walk from Pateley Bridge town centre and just a few minutes extra walking takes you out into the Dales countryside. We stayed 4 nights, walked on three days and didn't use the car once while we were there. Perfect! We certainly hope to return, room vacancies permitting!

Very friendly and informative welcome, tasteful decor throughout and a wonderful breakfast from local ingredients. Anyone taking the Morecombe to Bridlington C2C route should consider staying enroute.

Nothing, but cycling out of Pately Bridge was a challenge!

Only that the wi-fi did not work for me, but I believe that was a problem with my laptop, not the hotels modem, and they kindly let me use their own desktop computer.

Friendliness of staff. Allowed us to book in early which was great as we had picked our son-in-law up from Manchester airport on the way to Pateley Bridge. After an overnight flight from Texas, he was grateful to be able to go to bed and sleep for a few hours before he met our extended family. The two rooms were spacious, well fitted and up to date. The breakfast menu was wonderful and all the variations we chose were excellent

The bathroom was really good with a bath sized shower cubicle. The Shower head was very large and fixed which made it difficult to shower without getting your hair wet. You have to stand at an uncomfortable angle which is not good when you have neck problems. My husband also found this a problem and he does not have the disadvantage of Arthritis. But this really was the only problem in what is really an excellent establishment
