Superb location with excellent views and within a comfortable walking distance to Helensburgh. Friendly and helpful staff, in particular the reception staff, excellent and plentiful breakfast. The rooms were very clean, good bar facilities and sufficient parking. Altogether value for money. Will certainly consider a return visit.

After checking in we went down stairs for a meal, very dissapointing only macaroni cheese as a vegitarian dish, also had to show bar maid which bottle was brandy as she didnt know, there was also an issue with the draft coke which I dont like it was flat and no fizz. The bed was hard and lumpy and hotel informed us that there was no extra matresses available, the sink didnt have a handle to empty dirty water out, we were told it was missing and the remote control for tv wouldnt work so was not satisfactory

Excellent food, nice comfortable room Looks run down and shabby from outside, could do with a facelift. Staff disorganised and `scatty` in bar. Long wait to have table cleared after meal and no staff available to take order for dessert had to go hunt them out ! same at breakfast - when I requested yoghurt as on menu staff looked confused and wandered off - no one came back to me to say if they were available or not.

Extremely close to Helensburgh therefore not too far from transport to city etc. Breakfast was incredible. The blueberry muffins were the best muffins I have ever tasted. The barmaid was over-familiar. I felt slightly uncomfortable.

Everything about Rosslea Hall was great, the room was lovely, the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent apart from having to make your own toast!!. The gardens were lovely to sit out and have an early morning coffee or a late night cap. We would definitely stay again.

Very good location, comfortable bed and lovely room No WiFi available throughout my stay and no television working in room. Breakfast which is expensive was poor, and took far too long when going to work all day.

Helpful friendly staff. Gorgeous food at good prices. Muddled displays at entrance, really disliked the manikin in a dress - I didn't like the Madame Tausaurds effect it gave. The mattress was very tired and gave me an aching back in the morning - the only real purpose of staying in any hotel is to sleep overnight so this has to be addressed before people start to complain. I was told the HQ rep was on her way later in the week I stayed, 27/02/2012 so that showed feedback is actioned which reassured me.

Staff were pleasant Staff were unable to provide food for me on late arrival at 10.30pm despite my emailed request for this 2 days in advance and telephone call 3 hours in advance of arrival. The en-suite was grotty, with a leaky shower and grubby bath; the mattress was so uncomfortable I had to sleep on top of the doubled up duvet so as not to feel the springs; there were several holes in the bed sheets; the TV didnt work. A nice building in a nice location, but badly let down by the basics.

For the purpose of my visit it was well located. The staff were very helpful and friendly and for the tariff we paid I would add that it was exceptional value for money. I have stayed in many other establishments where a much higher price would not have resulted in any better a service or comfort.

We were only stopping for one night so as to see our son arrive home from Libya on hms Bangor. The time we stayed was lovely, great staff, room clean and tidy, bed a bit uncomfy.( I have seen some replies to you and you stated things are being done). We had a lovely bar meal, and if ever we visit this area again we would have no problem booking with you again. Our stay started a wonderful weekend for all of our family. Thank you Ted

The value for money was exceptional. The hotel was spotless, the staff were very polite, courteous and helpful. The food we had, dinner and breakfast, was amazing and highly recommended. No major flaws at all. But if I were to really nit-pick, I would say that the door at the stairwell was very squeaky when opened and it could be heard throughout the night in our room.

Excellent location, easy to find and good parking facilities. Friendly and helpful reception. We had travelled some 200 miles before arriving at the hotel and were looking forward to relaxing and having a good meal....but having booked a table in the restaurant...we ordered our food...and waited and waited...as did everyone else in the restaurant...nobody came to tell us why...after l hour (around 2130 we decided to leave and find somewhere else...apparently the chefs had walked out.....we found a fish and chip restaurant along the road...which was adequate, but obviously not what we wanted

The staff was extraordinarily helpful and friendly. There was a little hickup in the kitchen, and the management did more than enough to compensate guests for this. Beautiful setting.
