Location was good. Plenty of parking spaces. Staff were friendly and helpful.
A bit over-priced for what it was. Room quality didn't reflect price. No basic toiletries provided. Half of the satellite channels did not work and text was all in another language.
The price was good for London. Have stopped here before and have never had a problem
The room for this stay was in a very poor state, ripped wallpaper and carpet had to use chair to keep draws shut
Customer service excellence
at night it can be noiseyand the walls are quiet thin
_excellent Breakfast included in price with efficient, polite and friendly staff (we noticed the Official 5 star Health and Hygiene rating that lot of other locations do not have) -Lovely Valentines park just outside Hotel (main building) _Good location only 10 minutes walk from Ilford train station (then only £2.60 with Oyster to go to City Centre, Liverpool street in 20 minutes) _Great Ilford streets; great cheap shopping location _Hotel staff polite and friendly: walked us to our bedroom (as was outside Hotel in different building, 2 minutes away) _Very polite and respectful cleaning staff
_not knowing the Hotel was made of different separate buildings(converted detached houses) so did not get room in main building overlooking the lovely Park (despite preferences expressed at time of order of a room upstairs looking at it).But polite member of staff walked us there so that was eventually ok as it was not raining etc. We were in bedroom D9: just few tiny few details that would have made it even better _no extension lead for kettle so had to put it on floor; kettle too big for the size of the sink so could not filled it in without its beak scratching below the tap (not for the skeamish), no bedtable on one side, leaking shower head so left on floor so not to hear it; mould on corner of shower room while the shared bathroom in the corridor was spotless so customers paying less for non-ensuite get better showers. _extremely hot heater and could only regulate with opening windows (but better hot than cold so that was eventually ok). _no spare extra pillow (the ones available were thin and almost empty; none available on request) _no light next to bed
breakfast was good
state of hotel and bed comfort.
Staff were helpful and friendly; the neighbourhood is relatively safe and good - is a park right opposite with swans and boats. Breakfast is basic, but is free and a buffet. Is overall ok.
There is a £10 deposit for the key which is returned at checkout, but this is not too big of a deal. The heating on the first night we stayed made it feel like we were in a boiler room and even with windows wide open felt like we were being cooked alive. But it got corrected on the second night, so no big problem. Only other thing is that it is a bit far away from the city, but not too far.
Friendly and efficient staff Clean and tidy Access and parking Room size ideal for single person My room had en-suite which was a welcome bonus
Bed was broken. We slept on a mattress on the floor.
everything about this is disgraceful and disgusting. No manners what so ever. No hot water, nothing was clean, poor service, I am in shock that nobody complained to the local council to shut this place.
Yes waz be good
Bath was shared
Good value for money. Excellent breakfast. Adequate room for short stay. TV worked well. Quiet. Good car parking.
Furniture and fittings a bit tired. Broken shower head holder but shower worked. No shaver socket. No bulb in overhead bed light. Room too hot, but found later that radiator could be turned down!
Breakfast was OK.
Check in at reception then have to drag luggage to different building 300 yards away. Shower head would not stay on riser.
it had mould and i had to walk in the rain to go and get breakfast.
the price and location
a lot of noice at night from the room upstairs and the street (people where talking too loud)
Staff really helpful The location is good for central London and the hotel is very cheap.
The rooms need a bit of TLC
Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast, good choice. Very clean.
I thought the staff were very helpful.
At the outset, I wanted to point out that the room we received in no way fit the description. The heat was turned off (faulty) throughout the night and the temperature in the room does not exceed 15 degrees Celsius. Walls were covered with stains and fungus and was leaking shower (we found out about it from a neighbor from the bottom room when the water started to leak into his room). Staff assured us that the fault will be fixed by hour 9pm but only on promises over. Overall I would not recommend this hotel.
I would recognise the attention given by Tarel, Salman and Govin at reception.
Staff was not too friendly
Room was clean and tidy. The breakfasts we brilliant, buffet type could eat as much or as little as you wanted. Staff all nice and friendly.
Room wasn't the best, but it was clean. Didn't like the fact that travelling with children there was no bath in our room, just a shower. The location of the shower was literally as you walk in the door and was a shower cubicle with glass door, so you could see straight into the shower.
Home made breakfast Quiet - clean room Excellent Hospitality
Key Deposit !!!
Staff friendly, breakfast basic but filling good location for grants hill tube and free parking.
Hotel bit tired and shabby needs a bit of talc.
