Friendly & efficient staff, cleanliness & service. Also top class food.

The staff were very helpful

The place lacked atmosphere and almost seemed sterile. This may be because there were not many people staying.

Comfortable beds and pillows, rooms very clean and spacious,

Room was a good distance away from everything, room 37, no lifts , Receptionist wasnt very welcoming, or pleasant, on arrival or departure,

our room and bathroom were freezing and when i complained nothing was done

I arrived late and they made sure that food was available for me ! The WiFi was also very easy to access, FREE and worked well.

The hotel was lovely and considering I was back late each night and wasn't able to have a cooked dinner they still did me something to eat

Only 10 to 15 minute drive to town centre

The comfort and general standard of the hotel was very good.

Firstly - I had to request a second key and found that the receiption was un-manned and not responding to the Service bell, when the male staff member eventually came he appeared indifferent to the fact that we were in a hurry to get to the room to retrieve family belonging for those who actually had a taxi waiting outside. Secondly - breakfast in the room is restricted to continental style and we had been looking forward to treating oursleves to a cooked breakfast in bed ... and you charge extra which appears unfair when the choice is so restrictive from that being served in the dinning area.

Staff friendly, food excellent, both wedding meal and breakfast. Rooms very warm but was able to turn radiators down, bathrooms lovely

Didn't like having to walk through bars, social areas with bags to get to room. wasn't keen on long corridoors to get to room if you are on your own

Fine hotel. Very comfortable.

Arrived at 10pm. Felt a bit uncomfortable asking for a drink as the bar was closed. Got it but felt very obliged. The night porter did not give me the morning call I requested.

Due to my satellite poor reception I actually got lost and could not locate the hotel. I rang the hotel who could not be more helpful they were brilliant. They located me and gave me step by step instructions. It was dark and I was travelling on my own, they were very sympathetic and couldnt have been more helpful. They kep me on the telephone until i arrived outside. Once in the hotel they were very welcoming & I cannot fault my stay. The room was lovely, the staff were friendly. the breakfast was good & everything was never too much trouble.

Friendly staff, was looking a different bedroom with two single beds and this was no problem!

Breakfast over at 10am on a Sunday normally this would be 1030 so when I arrived in an empty room at 1015 it was not good

pleasant environment and surroundings.

i didn't like the fact, that there was no hot water at 7.25am to get showered. Also when my wife and i arrived down for breakfast at 8am no food was available. Only after we entered the sun terrace did the staff get up and walk out with their own morning coffee, and head off to get the breakfast foods. Food arrived at 8.20am. I left at 8.30am with lasting dispointment and frustration.

Liked the location and the remoteness from the city.

Not having a fridge in the room. It felt like at times that the focus in the hotel was on weddings only and felt especially once when we walked to our room that we were intruding by a staff member

Was at a family wedding, which ran like clockwork . Friendly and effecient staff, clean and stylish throughout and a lovely setting.

The food was excellent, We were at a wedding, the food was good there and at breakfast. The staff are very friendly and helpfull. The rooms were basic but very clean and comfortable, after all It's only a place to sleep The grounds are lovely to take a stroll
