Good sized room and very helpful, friendly owners. I had a front facing room, but wasn't bothered by the road noise at all!

It was extremely cold in the room...we put the heater on for hours whilst we were out and it was still freezing when we got back.

The room was really comfortable and the breakfast delicious.

Parking could be difficult if the hotel was fully booked but it was fine during our stay.

The owners were really friendly. in a matter of fact no nonsense way told us everything we needed to know. The bedroom was big, the bed big and comfortable and the linen clean cotton. we were in a room at the front of the hotel overlooking the road. Others have commented that there was a lot of road noise but in view of the fact that we slept with the window open we had no trouble at all and i wonder what people expect. And breakfast! absolutely marvelous beautiful fresh produce nicely cooked and a huge catetiere of coffee. choice of full english or kippers - and home meade preserves. Really couldnt fault it - excellent value for money!

for my liking lacks a bit of atmosphere although everything is very nice.. Guests do not interact easily as most were older couples. Normally would stay at lower end of budget hotels - but this was not available

Very friendly and welcoming. Staff very helpful. Breakfast cooked fresh, great quality. Our son is vegan and there was no problem catering for him which we greatly appreciated. Would definitely stay again when next in the area.

The location was good and the hotel was clean and tidy

Comfortable with a friendly welcome, accomodating approach and good homely food. I was offered a choice of rooms on arrival despite them being busy. Good location on the edge of the town centre, an easy walk into the town and so no need for the car.

It wasn't so much what I "didnt like" but double glazing would reduce the road noise at the front of the house.

Room 6.....The room was comfortable and very clean, the(owners/staff) were friendly. However, the shower was extremely poor, there was hardly any water pressure and the water ran cold!

I asked for a quiet room and was put at the front overlooking a very busy road. There was no double glazing so traffic noise was substantial

Friendly people. Good size bedroom. Walking distance of Bury. Good size carpark.

It was a bit cold in the hotel but it was very cold and snowing outside. The shower was poor, little power and the TV in the room had pretty poor signal.

Everything you need in room tv hair dryer. Iron and board. Tea coffee comfortable bed and room very clean excellent breakfast friendly proprieters

The hotel was very clean ,but could do with a bit of decorating ,other than that it was avery good hotel
