Excellent location, friendly welcome, good choice at breakfast, cosy rooms, terrace. No storage for suitcases so only recommended for 1 or 2 nights.

    Friendly greeting.

No lift and I was on the 3rd floor with narrow stairs. No aircon. £163 and no breakfast. The smell of frying and kebabs wafting 3 floor up.

Loved the shabby chic decor and the large bathroom. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Located very close to King's Cross station which was useful for me.

Bedroom area is quite small, no tv.

Unique design of the place, the combination of shabby old and expensive design is very special. The breakfast is great, the staff very helpful and the location 2 min. from Kings Cross.

    The rooms are very small.

Fantastic hotel in excellent location, beautiful vintage rooms & staff were brilliant

The vintage feel was great in the hotel bit the 1970s TV in the room was perhaps a bit too far as this didn't work

    Location near trainstation

Bad service, small room, narrow stair, etc. 200 pounds per night is too expensive for this hotel. I recommed other 4 star hotels. I stayed 1 night here during 15 days, and this one was the worst hotel...not even close. Do not waste your money!!!

    Nice bath

Rooms are tiny. Wifi doesn't work. This isn't a hotel, more of a bnb. The room was 1/3 it's normal price and still far far to expensive. No where to even put your bag down, terrible shower I couldn't even stand in and worst of all when draining the bath the room fills up with the smell of sewage. Don't stay here there are many nicer places to stay.

So many hotels are identical, and I stay in a lot of hotels! It was really nice to have something that was out of the ordinary for once, yet still in a good location (right next to Kings Cross station) and with functionality ... free wireless etc. A great breakfast, an extremely helpful and courteous staff, overall it made a very good impression.

I liked the design if the hotel in general

VERY over priced. No TV, kettle didnt work, tiny rooms with nowhere to sit apart from the bed. I knew some of this before but was still quite surprised. The hotel is much more a b&b than a hotel. Wouldn't stay again.

We stayed in the suite with the huge bathtub, which was great. The decor is eccentric and fun. Manager friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast very good - manager bought soy milk for us. Great location for Kings Cross, St Pancras and Bloomsbury. We'd stay there again...

Tiny shower stall for such a huge bathroom!

Friendy staff were always helpful.. Location is perfect, right across the king's cross station. I stayed in room 6 & 7. Design of the rooms are unique, loved the pictures hanging on walls, very nice! Modern bathroom was a plus. Breakfast awesome!! Would recommend for leisure more than business.

Very small rooms. Internet connection wasn't stable in room 6. In 7 was a little better. No elevator. If travels with heavy luggage could be an issue. The direction on the map wasn't very clear, my taxi driver wasn't familiar with the street. We went around and around. But once located.. It's actually quite easy to reach from the main road.
