Closeness to beach and harbour, restaurants and bars just a short walk away.
Weymouth town looked tired unlike the Roundhouse!
Enjoyed the roundhouse a lot unique location in weymouth very different shabby chic decor enjoyed the stay a lot would definitely returnonn
Only downside for me was the bathroom was a bit small but not too much of a problem
Everything, location, comfort, staff
We liked the view along the entire Weymouth Bay from the front window and a view over the old harbour and town from the back window.
We didn't care for the decor, and felt that an attempt to create a trendy 'boutique style' interior missed the mark and instead looked gaudy and shabby. My companions and I didn't think that it warranted a 4* status. The 'Continental' breakfast consisted of orange juice, toast, cereals, yoghurt and fruit only. There were no pastries or cold meats and cheeses that one associates with a Continental Breakfast.
We had a fantastic time whilst staying at the Roundhouse. Everything we required was there and we were just left to get on with enjoying our stay but knew assistance was jus a ring of a door bell away. Thank you for making our honeymoon that little bit more special.
Execellent location for attactions and stunning views of the harbour and sea. Owner and Manager polite and helpful.
Unfortunately our room was at the top of the hotel and climbing the stairs were not for the faint hearted!.
Excellent views over Weymouth Bay and the harbour channel at the rear. Comfortable bed and excellent room facilities. Well located for the ferry and for visiting the town centre and beach.
Bathroom window rattled during high winds. Consider some draught excluder to help seal the window and stop the rattling. Although the continental breakfast was adequate, I would have expected a cooked breakfast for the price paid.
Location was very good, right opposite the sea, breakfast was fair.
The room was comfortable, but was very tired, needs decorating, we said we were newleyweds, thought we might of had something in our room, bottle of wine or chocks or fruit, as it was our honeymoon, never mind.
The location was great. Didn't need the car all weekend as all we wanted was within walking/cycling distance. Hotel room very comfy, loved the décor, really individual. Will definitely be going back.
clean comfortable and staff pleasant and helpful
we were on top floor and the stairs were a bit .........but got used to it!!! T V in wrong place
The room had great views of the beach and harbour. Everything you could need was supplied. Plenty of toiletries , tea ,coffee water etc. excellent breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff.
The Channel island ferry was in the port over night and you could hear the hum of the engines all evening and during the night .
Vies Spacious room Wifi Coffee in room
Shower in room
The location, the hotel itself, the breakfast options, the overall atmosphere, Keith and Kirsty.
Nothing worthy of mention.
Carpets were not cleaned properly with vacuum and poorly decorated. For the room rare expected much more. Disappointed with the cleanliness.
Decoration very confused and tierd
Clean bathroom, power shower, comfy bed, easy chairs, tv, bottled water, hot chocolate, friendly host, fabulous location, the list is endless!
Nothing to complain about!
The hotel was in a great location, the staff were very friendly and welcoming.lovely walks around the harbour and along the beach.A very clean resort, would definitely return.
Although there are rooms from the ground floor to the top of the house, the top floor is quite a trek, but wonderful views.
Excellent continental breakfast
Satin sheets kept sliding off the bed but no problem getting them changed to cotton ones after the first night
The Roundhouse has the beach one side and the old harbour on the other. Perfect location
Excellent location with views out both front of the main beach and back window of the port.
Excellent views Good choice for breakfast
Harbour view from on window, and sea view from the other, brilliant!
Large ferry, close by, running generators all night, it pulled in at about 7 pm and left the next morning about 10 or 11, still should be expected if you book a room next to a ferry port :) A small blight on a wonderful little gem.
clean, welcoming, ideal location, close to beaches. Excellent breakfast. Room light and airy.
what's not to like.
Everything! Great location, warm and cosy eclectic decor, great bed, lovely breakfast, warm and friendly staff and atmosphere
