The room was comfortable and cosy with a wonderful view onto the beach of Weymouth just across the street. Choice of breakfast was more than adequate with special requests freshly made. German speaking management was looking after me very well.

The Roundhouse was situated in an ideal location for access to the town and Marina My one and only mourn is there was no shaving point in the bathroom, which meant I had to get on the floor with a special adapter to have a morming shave.

The room was clean and a very good breakfast was served the next day. The lady who ran the hotel was kind, polite, and friendly. We booked the Deluxe King room as we were making an overnight stop in Weymouth on the first day of our honeymoon, but I don't really think the room we stayed in was great value for money as we didn't have a very comfortable night, and on our return trip we stayed in the Premier Inn which was just as comfortable and over £100 less for the night!

From the moment you walk in through the front door you are looked after to a very high standard. There is a personal touch and nothing is too much trouble. Everywhere is clean and fresh from the public areas to the bedroom. Our bedroom was tastefully and carefully decorated. The attention to detail was excellent. It was noted that we did not have the fruit juice offered at breakfast so the following morning, alternative options were provided. The room had a lovely view of the harbour and the beach. Although the price would seem slightly high for a traditional b&b, the service, accommodation and ambience made it worthwhile paying extra. Parking is not ideal, but the hotel provides as many sensible options and solutions that they can, and all in easy walking distance. It is not just this hotel that suffers in Weymouth, it is a common problem.

Not a great deal, views were very good and the location was good.breakfast was freshly cooked. We stay in loads of hotels and this was not value for money, we also dont mind what we pay as long as we get our monies worth, the location and views were excellant but it is only bed & breakfast, the room had been freshly plastered and then just left bare, maybe it was supposed to be like that, we had just left a hotel in the new forest that was the same price and the room and eminities were first rate.

The closeness to the ferry terminal and the friendlyness of the lady in charge. What made it better was that we were due to sail to Jersey the following morning but was told that due to bad weather, the ferry was cancelled. When we told the lady at the hotel, she upgraded us to the 'Pink Room' which was very - Pink but very warm and inviting. She allowed us to use her telephone to make alternative plans and she did her best in making sure we were ok. There is nothing you could complain about.

This b&b is aiming at boutique hotel status but is currently falling far short despite some effort on the operators part. The room will be pleasant when it is finished but two walls of unpainted fresh plaster and exposed wiring don't justify this price tag. The location is good and breakfast was fine except that I have never been served mushrooms fried to a crisp, before. Novel, but not an experience I want to repeat either on the plate or overall.

We loved everything about it,fantastic room with a view of the harbor and a view of the sea.The room had everything we could of wished for a massive bed which was very comfortable,a sofa in the bay window. The decor was loverly ,the T.v was nearly as massive as the bed. The shower room was spotless with all the jells and body lotions you could wish for. Breakfast was to die for ,what ever you wanted. Such a lovely friendly hotel, you could not want for anymore. We will be returning there again.

Very attentive host. Quirky hotel with very original and 'arty' decor, within a lovely georgian building, right on the seafront. We liked our room where we could look out on the esplanade and also the harbour.

From the moment we arrived at the Roundhouse, we were warmly greeted by the owner, Eva, so much so that we then enjoyed a glass of wine with her and other guests followed by supper at a local restaurant. The hotel has a contemporary feel, reflecting the owner's artistic flair and yet exudes a homely ambience. The room we were (easily) persuaded to upgrade to, had stunning views of both the beach and the harbour, and the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in! A quirky feature was the shower in the bedroom rather than the bathroom, but that enhanced the view for my partner apparently! Breakfast was freshly cooked, delicious, beautifully presented and more than enough to sustain us for the day ahead. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will widely recommend the hotel. It was unfortunate that the building had scaffolding around it, as the first impression was a little spoiled, but it didn't really detract from the interior looking out.

Location between harbour and beach. Good views. It was very noisy during the night of our stay due to a large ship in the harbour. Too pricey for the room.

really friendly and helpful owner.nice atmosphere and good location over looking the beach. I thought the room looked unfinished as the walls were unpainted. there was scaffolding at the window which was a shame as it blocked a lovely view.it was quite expensive for a small room in a b and b.

We arrived at the roundhouse, the staff helped us with our suitcases to our room, which was very kind.We were welcomed with cookies and strawberries to go with our coffee later,a thoughtful gesture. We were given a choice of bedrooms on our level, our room was very large and cosy and well furnished our bed was very comfortable.Eva's eye for style is first class-the art work and furniture and decoration are wonderful. The roundhouse is faultless. We had two windows with views of the beach and harbour views which was amazing. You are near to the ferry and theatre which is very handy. The room was very clean.Eva who runs it is a very thoughtful, very nice and helpful. The views from the breakfast room were of the beach.Eva is doing a grand job, keep up the great work. You can use your computer at the b&b,everything was there for you.The breakfasts are delicious, nothing is too much trouble,we were given a parking permit, which gave us free parking for our duration.T He rooms are beautiful designed we had a lovely time. For our journey home eva gave us some fruit and cookies and couple of chocolates, which I thought was very kind.Thank-you eva for a wonderful stay. Nothing

Eva was so kind and friendly. Scrambled egg and Croissants served for breakfast was the best we had during our one week holiday in UK. The floor of our room was inclined towards the sea and GBP 160 per night looked not value for money at all
