Too dark and narow roads without lights.
The spa is out of this world, it is so relaxing and comforting.
The price is quite expensive.
Spa, friendly staff, comfort
Food prices excessive ie chicken and chips £21!! - seriously? The online booking rate of £109 was applied at checkout. Was charged £229 and had to prove email confirmation
The spa area and swimming pool, well equipped room with en suite and friendly staff.
Poor WiFi!! Door handle broken & blown light in room. Difficult to find the hotel in the dark Wouldn't have paid £200 for room.
Very atttentive front of house staff helped me find lost phone charger and work out how to pay toll charges ! Food in the restaurant excellent and hired room very good
Having endured a 8 hour drive from the North West, having the use of the lovely spa facilities was a great ending to an extremely long day... The room was large and airy with the most comfortable bedding and pillows.. Room service was also pretty quick and offered a good selection.
Pretty much everything.
Whilst the room rate I paid was good value, breakfast is prohibitively expensive.
Initial Impression was beautiful looking hotel. Very helpful staff.
Unfortunately the shower attachment was broken and one of the table lamps not working. Expected better for such an expensive room
We had no robes or slippers in our room when we arrived, the phone didn't work, our bedside lamps had no bulbs, terrible noise from generator outside our room! Spa was ok nothing special though!
The room was stunning, so comfortable, clean and beautiful.
Being charged £200 for a room, then extra for breakfast and worse still being offered fresh coffee when we checked in, then to find we been charged extra for it. Also felt drinks were expensive at an average of £5 per drink
Stayed one night in business, hotel was amazing, room very nicely decorated and comfy, food was exceptional and breakfast too
Food was of good quality. Friendly staff,
Bed was awful no air con in room
Stayed 2 nights. Left my wife there as working in as working in area. She used the facilities and had a very relaxing day. Lovely robes to wear, very comfortable room. Bar menu very well prepared and room service excellent.
Breakfast not of the same quality of other meals (I have stayed here before) - far to expensive for what it is. Room floor of composite construction and there was a lot of dust about (Reported this to reception on departure). Needs better signage on road (missed it first time around) and thay should ensure the correct post code is used for satnav.
I took my partner to Rowhill Grange hotel for his birthday and we had the most relaxing time of our lives. The spa is out of this world! We reserved a table at RG restaurant in the hotel and the food was amazing! We both agreed it was the best meal we've had for a very long time. Thank you chef! I will certainly be recommending this hotel to people and will be returning very soon.
Amazing full body massage. Beautiful bathroom and toiletries. Nice helpful staff.
Side table - stained by lots of mug watermarks.
Staff really attentive without being over the top, rooms are of a good size and well equipped, the hotel is spotlessly clean. will be staying here again.
The staff on the front desk of the spa/gym were disinterested, quite the opposite of the hotel front desk
The room was really lovely.
Pool and spa area much smaller than appears in photo. The steam room wasn't working and the saunas are in the changing rooms so we couldn't use it as a couple.
Staff not nearly so helpful and considerate as other Alexander Hotel locations. Changed our booking from the restaurant to the less formal bar with limited menu. Didn't apologize, just indicated that we didn't have a choice anymore. No offer of help with luggage. Noisy guests came in after 1.30am to the house in the grounds where we were staying.
Friendly saff, good food and comfortable room.
The rooms were welcoming and comfortable. The food was excellent. Beautiful grounds.
The staff were polite, but not as friendly as they could have been. The shower temperature was difficult to control and the pressure poor.
it is fine for a romantic stay just don't bring the kids!
When we booked the hotel we thought it was family friendly...make sure you read the small print NO KIDs UNDER 18 allowed in the pool or restaurant.
The best Hendricks with cucumber served beautifully.
The room was too hot.
Me and my partner liked everything about this hotel it was amazing!!
Absolutely nothing, could not fault the place one bit
Everything Staff very polite and helpfull .
