The head board on the bed kept banging on the wall but we pulled it away from the wall and had a good nights sleep thank you. Very much
We liked the location. The owners were very welcoming and helpful It was a real lovely hotel The room was lovely and warm
We have no complaints at all.
the manager always made sure you had a parking place
Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The service at breakfast was excellent and portions very generous set us up for the busy day ahead! Compared to most of the accomodation available in Blackpool I would say this has to be one of the best for value for money for a family. The hotel is dated but that didn't matter to us at all it was very clean and comfortable and the staff were excellent. Only a two minute walk from the nearest tram station/stop (West Burlington I think) and that cost us £9 for a family of five to travel on the tram for the whole day & night and was only a few mins on the tram to the centre / tower area. Would definately recommend this hotel for a family on a budget and will go back again
location and staff very good.
family room and ensuite to small. shower either too hot or too cold.
The owners and staff made us feel very welcome. They were helpful. The food was of a high quality and quantity. The hotel was clean and tidy.
Staff lovely decor tired but entertainingly retro. You get what you have paid for cheap cheerful clean lovely staff.
1st class Ideal fir what we wanted Granddaughter had a great time as well
I love how it was cheap, clean and quiet. The people were lovely i'd definitely stay at the royal hotel again, ive already recommended it to friends and family x
staff were lovely, food was excellent, room was perfect, if you like the old blackpool you will love this original hotel, was really warm and comfy, didnt hear any noise from other rooms.
nothing to report
Nice clean bright room
Tight bathroom, No lift, No baths
Low water pressure.
friendly home from home atmosphere
nothing not to like
We liked the staff who were so friendly and helpful, its a family run business and sometimes that makes a difference. The location was good but would have been nice to be right in the centre, but cant fault on anything apart from the fact that there was no lift, otherwise excellent service and staff wonderful.
The only downfall was that there was no lift and the stairs were quite steep, other than that nothing else.
Stayed here with family for the weekend, nice quiet hotel, excellent staff and hotel is spotless!
Friendly welcome, very comfortable bed, good breakfast and an enjoyable experience.
Great service good location I recommend :-)
This hotel was amazing amazing staff had a brilliant stay going back in a couple of weeks would recommend this hotel for families and couples amazing
Everything excellent service
Owners were friendly, hotel was clean and tidy, spaciously sized family room, only reason why I wouldn't stop here again is location, we booked it at last minute so
The breakfasts! didn't bother even going down 2nd morning. had an apple in my room instead. Its edible just undercooked
very helpful and friendly staff..the location is great as it is only few minutes walk to attractions, public transports and bars but still remains very quiet at night..the room was very clean aswell:)
So easy to jump on a tram from hotel.
More water pressure needed in shower
Ideal if you are wanting the pleasure beach end of blackpool a long walk to the tower for older people but trams run regularly and there is a stop not far away from hotel parking available which was a big bonus as we had 3 cars !!!!
Rooms a little dated but very clean we had a 4 poster room for mum and dad which was lovely as we had booked for their golden wedding as a treat !!
The staff lovely, the room great & the location for a young family was super.
Happy with everything, great holiday !
Staff was excellent and spent a bit if time talking to us. Bar prices really cheap, would stay here again. Defenate value for money. Many thanks Richard
All was good
The staff were welcoming and gave us great advice. For instance we were told about the tram daysaver ticket and wifi hotspots. We weren't hassled into paying the balance on our bill on arrival like some places. The room was lovely and bright with a comfy four poster bed. Great location for the pleasure beach and parking out front.
I was a little concerned about stepping over the pipes to get onto the balcony. I thought this was a little dangerous although clearly marked as a hazard and we were very careful. Someone who was a little tipsy or clumsy could have trouble. I would still recommend the room though. Room 29.
