Score from 1611 reviews Good
Cheap and cheerful
It was relatively close to lime street station
The rooms were rather poor, not even a tv
Easy to come and go with no fuss
Towels and bath mat a bit worn
Basic accommodation but everything you needed, clean, friendly staff, wifi, tea/coffee, easy walk to lime street, super value for money!
Room was simple, but clean and private. The price was o.k. only because I booked it for a reduced price of 50%.
I paid cash and did not get a receipt. When I asked for it I was told they will send it via email, but they never did. Is there a kitchen to use? I couldn't find it, nobody explained the facilities and the reception was closed soon after I checked in.
It's a low budget place to stay.
Location Staff on call close to restaurant and some shops
bin not cleared every day. Wi Fi not on all the time.
Close to Lime Street Station
Had a room right near communal toilet ! Will never stay in a Hotel where all is communal ! Room had window, but hey i think in prison the view would be better ! Paid less elsewhere the next day for a room with no view, but own shower, toilet, big comfy bed & tv !
Location and comfort
The room was clean and tidy. The receptionist was friendly and helpful.
The room was overpriced for the location and facilities. We didn't feel like royalty at the chambers.
We liked the price and location very much. Everything else was acceptable.
One of the showers in the shared bathrooms is not good at all, and difficult to get working right. They have a bunch of non-working fire extinguishers around, which they say are not needed anyway. Why don't they just remove them?
Location, Room n Staff
No water there to wash ur hands even
The price/quality is excellent. Some rooms are equipped with washbasin. Electric kettle, tea and instant coffee, mineral water are provided. The location near the University was a big advantage of the hotel to me.
During my stay the failure of the water supply happened, but was fixed after 2 days.
It was a place to sleep for a couple of nights and convenient to the city
Car parking was a nightmare, it was too complicated.
Location was key and couldn't have been any better very box standard and got what we paid for
The mirrors in the bedrooms were tiny not ideal for a group of girls getting ready for a night out in. Need to be more information about the room deposit when booking was not aware until I arrived
