Royal College Street Apartments    

It needs to be said that the quality of these apartments is good for the price you pay. They are well equipped and central to Camden town with a tube station just around the corner.I See complaints on here but heh if you want to stay in the Ritz then expect to pay the price.. You get what you pay for and I personally think for the price we paid that these apartments are good value in a very expensive city

Need to clean the basement garden outside ..open the curtains and you are staring at a rubbish tip...??!

Close to the underground. kitchen well equiped.

I had the impression that I was sleeping on the road because of the street noise that came trough the windows.

Close to the underground. Food store near by. Close to the center (10 minutes by tube to Tower etc.) Booked the apartments with 66% discount for 1000 Eur for 5 nights for 3 persons which is reasonable.

Really small rooms. Shower was damaged although worked.

The apartment was very well equipped and comfortable we will definatly book again.

The decor was nice

No hot water, then when fixed the rooms were like saunas. Located next to a pub whihc was not made clear in the description so kept awake from staff tidying up

We found the aptement very modern and was very pleased witthe the layout and decor.It had towles, tea and coffee, iron and hair dryer.

The check in time would of loved to have checked in earlier around dinner time as we had lots of suitcases and bags. I did email and ask the question but did not recieve an email back.

The apartment was not the same as on the booking site . It was small and not as advertised , it was not very clean and quite shabby . I have complained but no response from apartments to my emails . Overall a poor experience as the pictures on the website are fake ,,,,, lesson learnt

Very handy for car park and shopping easy walking distance for restruants and night life. Clean and modern and good value.

Very handy modern well appointed city apartments very useful 2 bedrooms which really appealed to us

the apartment was NOT the one we had been expecting which we had chosen from the internet, not even the same building. No access to outside sitting and the sun was shining. No TV picture. Chipped table which was very poor first impression. Badly stained shower curtain, shower head not adjustable, water temp. not adjustable and scalding hot, and no plug in sink. Bath panel loose. No wands on blinds to adjust them. Not good value for money paid.

Apartment from inside is modren and clean and that's all nothing more than that.

Unfriendly staff. key pick up location seperate, so the cab charged us 35 pounds more. The address given on the booking for apt different than the one acutally we stayed in. Run around to look for the actual place. When finally reached the apt with our 8 suitcases and 4 back packs we had to carry it all to the third floor and the stairs are 2 ft wide. Very unpleasant carpet deodrant smell in hallway. no working lights in hallway,we took our luggage up in pitch dark. Someone came to fix the light later other guest had complained (we didn't have phone) one light bulb was replaced and it was out next day again, at this point we learnt how to manage in dark. Noisy, hardly slept, I'm watching a lady walking on the street accross with medium flat heels and could hear every step she took on my third floor through closed windows, this is how bad it is, 4 days no sleep, very small place, only good for two people.3 toilet paper rolls for 4 nights 4 people, bad service. Requested for apt change the very first day as the smell in the hallway was giving me headache but I's told there is nothing available. Just covered my nose when stepped out.No attraction is close to the apartment, too much time wasted on trains. Bus outside the apt was good for nothing other than noise to disturb sleep.

We like the apartament and the locaation too. Clean, everything is complet, kichinet, rooms, baths.

Wait to take the apartament to 15 hs, is long time, I think the check in could be more early. The one room is very small. That it is,

The location of the apartment is different than the address in the website. Deposit 300 pound The area of the apartment is too noisy

It had everything in it that a home would have. It was central, clean and quiet. Shops were close by and most areas were wt Irgun walking distance

What a great find. Good location, self-contained, with full kitchen, 2 comfortable bedrooms, bathroom and living room. The real bonus was a large patio with table and chairs. Perfect for a quiet chill out after a busy night at work. They warn you to respect the neighbours, so not the place for a party after hours and don't make the mistake I did, which was to not notice that check in is not at the same place you're staying.

Isolated "turist apartments, one on a basement next to a pub, very noisy and smelly; the other on a second floor without lift with very noisy street works from 8h. Without any room service at all.

Modern kitchen. Plenty of bedding and towels.

Booking.com can't give you the exact address of the apartment you'll be staying in. I found out mine was in a different location to what I thought. Luckily for me it was closer to where I want to be, but this may not work out for everyone.

The noise from the street at night

wireless internet, good location, quiet even if near the train station, kitchen amneties in good condition

We didn't like the dust under the beds which was probably gathered during a long time without being removed. one night we had mice visiting the kitchen! Also, because of the lack of proper ventilation, the bathroom had an unhealthy smell of mold.

The was not clean.

Would be ideal as a base for a longer stay in London. I did not have time to use them but the facilities were excellent.

The arreagements for payment and booking in were not convenient and not what I expected from a company that was advertised as a "hotel". We booked this because it was the only room availabe in the right area but the booking-in office was quite a distance from the room. They charged extra for a late (after 9 I think) arrival and stated that they prefered payment in cash, debit cards incurred a further charge. Payment in cash is totally incompatible with my business accounting procedures. I have yet to see the bill appear on my bank statement but their information said that the payment would appear in Czech Crowns. This would incurr additional bank charges. I was distinctly not impressed that these extra requirements were not obvious until after making the booking. When I expressed my dismay at their business practices they explained, and I had to agree, that the information was on your website but right at the bottom of the page in the "fine print" area.
