Built in the mid-Victorian period, this hotel is just 150 yards from Crewe train station, between the market towns of Sandbach and Nantwich. The Royal Hotel is ideally placed for visiting the MMU Crewe Campus. Comfortable accommodations, superb breakfasts and friendly surroundings are offered at affordable prices. Relax with a drink or play pool in the Corner Bar, which also shows Sky Sports. On weekends there is '70s to present day' music in the Corner Bar until 3:00 a.m. The hotel’s nightclub, The Box, hosts live music until 3:00 a.m., and its newly refurbished Bar Seven will play music until 3:00 a.m. Please be aware that weekends can be noisy. The noise from downstairs until 4am in the morning. I like a good party as much as anyone, but why the music had to be so loud & the bottles just had to be emptied at 4 in the morning, god knows. A real 'rough' hotel. Will not be staying there again!! :-(

Just convenient and reasonably cheap. Badly needs upgrade. Appeared to be a b/b for working men. An ash tray was in the room! There was a notice refering to smoking guest rooms on the second floor. The room cleaner could have done a better job on the carpet, it was filthy.

Snídaně dle vlastního výběru i anglická.

Excellent location for travellers - 50 yards from Crewe station. 1 The hotel is built on top of a very loud disco with a 3 am license. They do point this out a check in but it's a little to late then to go elsewhere. Breakfast at the weekend only started at 8.30, which was a little to late for me.

Breakfast No hot water at any time; unable to use shower. Howling gale through gap under windowsill. Traffic noise at all hours, particularly emergency vehicle sirens. Rowdy night club guests congregating on pavement outside hotel (probably awaiting taxis). General run-down air.
