- Room prices - Location
- TV is not working - WiFi is useless i.e. very very slow!! - Rooms doors have to be slammed shut for them to close - Disturbance from road noise
Location was good.
The beds we're moving every time you moved.and the housekeeping were loud in the morning.
Good stay nice room
The rooms and bathrooms were extremely small and as the rooms were double storey the upper part, which had no window, was too hot eventhough it was cold outside and the heater was off. The ceiling high of the bathroom was very short (a normal person couldn't totally stand up under the shower). The wifi was free for only half an hour in one device per bedroom and beyond that it was paid. All-in-all the price was very high for what was offered.
Close to the subway. Nice rooms. Staf was helpful.
The shower was smal.
Location is excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was a good size, good value for money.
The room was a bit too hot.
excellent location, near paddingtion station and close to oxford street
veeeeeeeery small room very small bathroom not very clean not very comfortable very loud - we heard exactly what people on the floor or other rooms talked about
the hotel was warm comfortable and clean staff pleasant and friendly had a choice of two continental breakfasts.good location to for paddington rail and tube stations just up the road.good value for money
ease from Paddington or Lancaster Gate stations. hyde park short walk away and staff were extremely helpful and cheerful
nothing was great value and service
convenient location, clean bathroom
Very small room (barely 2m x 3m) with an equally small bed. I'm only 5ft4 and my toes were hanging off the end. Room was opposite the lift, with no soundproofing so it felt like people were talking in my room. Saturday night was the worst with people outside my room till 5.30am. Room was requested on a higher floor to reduce traffic noise but all could be well-heard. The room could benefit from double-glazing and sealing the doors better. I didn't complain as it was only two nights, but I wouldn't recommend staying longer as there is no storage in the room.
The first night we went in the man behind the desk was helpful, we had a slight issue with our bed (was noisy) and he remembered who we were, our room number and sorted us out with a free breakfast for the Saturday & a room change. He is lovely. The first room was small, but modern. It was spotless.
Food, was very limited and they don't serve hot breakfasts. One of the ladies behind reception on Saturday was very blunt and unwelcoming.
Reasonable price hotel, clean and tidy hotel, the staff were very professional and friendly.
My mums single room was very small.
Location is excellent - close to Paddington & Lancaster Gate tubes. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Facility to leave luggage on the day of departure is extremely useful.
The standard double rooms are very small particularly for 2 people and some parts of the hotel can be noisy. Breakfast is expensive but plenty of places to eat in the area.
the location is probably the best thing about the hotel. super close to paddington station makes getting around and out of london very easy.
even by london standards, my room was super small. walking sideways to get around the bed was a first! also, why in this age is wifi not free at hotels? ten pounds a day! blimey.
Value and location.
Continental breakfast at £9.50 when alternative cooked breakfast available nearby.
Price for room was fair.
Too far away from west end. Price for continental breakfast too much ie £10.99. Bed mattress uncomfortable.
We required a cot which was requested on arrival and with 5 minutes in the room the cot was delivered. Nothing was a problem. An organised system meant we were able to leave our bags safely in the hotel after checking out and again the staff were friendly, organised and accomodating to our wishes. We will stay at this hotel again.
Nothing as everything was perfect.
Very good location. Comfortable room.
Cleanliness of rooms no beer or ice in the bar area low pressure shower Television in 1 room only channel 4 available Television in another room only ITV. not enough plug sockets for a triple room 1 room had to be changed due to damp
That we had the room a bit on the side so it was rather quiet..It was clean, the beds were comfortable, good location and that the room was ok in size.
The bathroom was small and since There wasn't a radiator it was very chilly. When people walk and talk in the corridor it sounds like they are in your own room.
Leaving early in the Morning
-Offensive smell from one of the 3 assistants behind reception. -Bad attitude and abruptness from these three. -Having to wait 25 minutes to be acknowledged by the three whilst they ALL explained to an angry customer that they had given the last room to me... -phoning me from the front desk, when I was stood in front of them to tell me they had no rooms left, which they had sorted mine at this point. -Not being given the room I booked, being told there was "no other rooms available!" -Complaining and being moved to the room I booked of which WAS available. -Very poor WiFi connection (not being able to connect 10ft from reception). -broken tiles on the bathroom floor of which I cut my foot on. -the room smelling of smoke.
welcoming, friendly, quiet at night, very comfortable, wouldn't hesitate to choose again.
Location is very good indeed, very close to paddengton station (train and underground, and bus stops, staff very friendly and helpful
room was too narrow and bed too small for comfort, no room to put your bags, phreak fast variety was poor
Clean, modern looking room.
Wooden floors are good, clean but upstairs also wood and can be heard walking around in the night (person upstairs came in later and I could hear every step).
