We where out most of the time but what we seen was great
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. Great breakfast! Very enjoyable stay.
Cosy! Food good and friendly staff
Some noisy guests in early hours
Looks from outside, decor inside, comfy bed , area of the hotel .
On arrival bird outside saying "rooms from£29??, so why was mine £89, I found it very basic as 4*, have been in better 3* & cheaper price , breakfast was ok, service minimal , room did not feel or look like 4* , restaurant was over priced for type of residence , will not be returning as U welcomed response by all staff ,
The room was clean.
Bathroom badly designed; inadequate shelf space. Soap dispenser dripped down the wall and onto the floor. Breakfast time 9am-10am but no-one about and all doors locked until after 9.30am. Unable to make anyone hear that we needed breakfast on time. Service very slow and laid back. No toast or marmalade on offer.
Drove us to venue and collected us from venue later in friendly manner.
All very friendly. Excellent service. Even offered complimentary lift to nearby wedding reception. Very good breakfast.
Nothing to criticise. All very good. Would stay again.
Great shower and nice deco
The noise of the landing door slamming
The location was quite remote, but it is set in a beautiful part of England.
The rooms are just ok. Poor bathroom, shower sprays all over the place, no bin hardly any shelves. The bed was stained and really uncomfortable so were the pillows, very hard. Noisy as room was over the bar. The breakfast was very limited.
Food at dinner and breakfast was excellent, although breakfast service was rather slow.
Room was smaller than appeared in photos. Noisy guests in bar.
Incredibly friendly staff who couldn't do more for us. We were staying to watch an outdoor cinema event in the Wyre Forrest, the landlord offerd to drop us off and pick us up from the event - in his split screen VW van!!! - despite it being a 15min journey and the pub being busy. Such a simple gesture made the whole experience amazing. I would definately stay there again, oh and the food was lovely.
The whole experience was excellent. I would recommend this inn to my friends. Great location to vsit the area. I stayed a second night. Good value.
Arranged flowers to be delivered and they were in the room as expected. Very courteous and attentive landlord and staff
Great overall experience
A warm welcome to a very comfortable stay. Excellent breakfast.
The location. The food and the ale. The staff. The room was lovely.
The food took a long time to be served in the evening but was worth the wait as it was all fresh.
comfortable and familiar and relaxed and great linen and bedrooms
The room was a large size, walk in shower worked very well with plenty of space. Breakfast was cooked well, scrambled eggs were good. Could have done with more choice and maybe yoghurts. Near places to visit.Did not have an evening meal so could not comment. Staff did change room when asked. Manager did go out of her way to obtain snack we asked for. 11.30 check out very good so not a rushed breakfast.Lovely coffee. Could be an excellent place to stay with a bit more thought and staff training. We were in the Pumpkin room and there was noise from the kitchen extractor, maybe this could be quitened somehow. We slept well as it did not stay on to late.
Being ignored for ten minutes at check in and then being directed vaguely to the bar area.Room/bathroom/towels not cleaned while out on second day or tea/coffee/cups changed. No green policy on towels. Given a bottle of wine for inconvenience, this should not happen though.Shower gel container empty. No sauces on table for breakfast had to ask.Toast was included in scambled eggs on toast not asked if we wanted some after for marmalade etc. Had to ask for this as well,we would rather be offered items and refuse them rather than keep asking.Newspapers not offered or available.Could have done with an area with leaflets for places to visit as it is a hassle parking in Bewdley if you are not going there just for tourist info.
Exceptional evening meal :-)
*Very good and attentive staff. *Comfy room, well appointed. *Really nice meals in the evening at a reasonable price. *Nice "oldy wordly" atmosphere with kind of avent garde twist is the colour schemes.
*Wifi dropped in and out a lot. *Road noise on a busy road (not double glazed. *A bit noise from the pub below, but not late at night. *website gives the impression of being more countrified than the actual immediate location.
Really friendly staff, restaurant food was good, and breakfast, which was cooked to order, was spot on!
I arrived at night, a sign for the car park would have been helpful, as it is hidden down a side road.
Its a dog friendly place, which was great. Car park too.
