Apartments were lovely and spacious
Price was rather high and we weren't told about the extra holding fee we would have to pay on arrival. The staff were rather unhelpful.
Good location, beautifully clean, very friendly, helpful staff and excellent kitchen facilities.
Lift broken on arrival so had to carry heavy luggage upstairs, though, to be fair, it was fixed that day (even though it was a Sunday). Lack of affordable parking facilities nearby - cheapest cost £20 per day. We did find free parking at Wallyford park and ride facilities which I would recommend - This facility is about 1/2 hour drive out of town and 3/4 of an hour back on the bus at a cost of £1.50 per person, but you are able to leave your car there for up to 1 week and you certainly do not need to use a car again until home time with the centrally located apartments.
design and location
water is not hot engouh
Quiet accommodations yet centrally located. Easy walking distance to the downtown area and grocery shopping. Back overlook gardens. Comfortable apartment with complimentary tea, coffee and small bottle of milk . Staff helpful and friendly.
Dishwasher did not work and there was no sign on it stating this.
Location and space
Bathroom facilities poor. Extra bed very uncomfortable
Location and helpful staff , very good apartment style accommodation We had the garden flat , so had a very nice aspect to look out onto
Very comfortable, very clean and in a very central location but still quiet. Would use again and would recommend!
Location is the best and the only good thing about this apartment hotel. The size of the apartment was reasonable too.
The apartment was very dirty. The en-suite was particularly awful. The kitchen door will shut itself. There was absolutely nothing in the kitchen. I would have thought that some salt, pepper will be basic things to provide but it was too much of an expectation it seemed.
We enjoyed having a separate living space along with the usual kitchen service. Free washers and dryers were a plus. We also enjoyed a lack of noise from people on the street.
Some in our party were not hapoy with the mattresses. Don't wait until thevlast minute to wash clothes as the dryers aren't efficient and you may need extra time to dry.
Location was excellent Staff very friendly and helpful
Cleanliness within apartment
St Andrews Park area - close to everything.
Room was in the basement - several stairs to navigate and since we were an older couple, a bit difficult to get luggage up and down. Shower was also an in-convenience as getting hot water was a challenge in itself.
Location. Friendly staff. Amazing view. Comfortable furnishings.
Lists of charges if you broke or damaged anything was extortionate (prices went up to 1500 pounds) made u as feel anxious with the children, and things such as sink we're already damaged so we were anxious they might charge us.
Very close to train station, tram to airport, bus station and Hop-on/Hop-off sightseeing buses! Also close to George St. for good restaurants, & museums! All within walking distance. On the upper floors, a magnificent view of Edinburg!!!
Creaky floors! But that adds to the attraction!
staff location comfort
The housekeeping was just for request.
nice staff nice location very convenient facilities is very complete
Size of apartment Location and views from all windows Quality of bedding and furniture Complimentary toiletries / dressing gowns etc
One shower didn't work too well
Location Friendly staff Well equipped kitchen
Shower had a hole in the pipe
Apartment size location friendly staff Comfy beds
floors creaked doors were old and struggled to close for a lot of doors. no twin beds Ageing apartment
The aspect and the decor were good. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment, however, the welcome brochures were so out of date as to mention a continental breakfast that hasn't been offered for at least a year. The apartment was very clean and the complimentary toiletries were also very acceptable.
There was only enough lounge seating for two people although we had an apartment for four. We had to help the concierge to locate and lug two armchairs up to the apartment. This is Not acceptable from either our point of view or the concierge, who was an older gentleman. If we hadn't had two able-bodied men in our party two of us would have been sitting on the floor. Disappointing. A bedroom chair was also lacking (clothes had to be left on the floor). Bedroom mirrors would also have been v welcome.
closeness to trams to the airport.
Space and being able to relax as and when I wanted and self catering
Website not clear on what is provided eg hair dryer, toiletries and a tel call to query had very poor response indeed. Door to apt would not lock and safe did not lock. Reported both but neither resolved and no update given. Replacement costs for breakages are way over the top
Location, comfort, space, large lounge and reception. Lovely hot showers at all times.
Smallish kitchen and no door for the freezer compartment of the fridge. Temperamental flush on our en-suite. Were not informed of laundry facilities available by staff, or gym and garden.
large windows and light kitchen facilities
Great location, centre of town, round corner from main bus station & 5 min walk from waverley train station. We got a great deal on this hotel at start of Edinburgh fringe, so were very happy. Room 211 was very quiet, nice sized bedroom, lots of storage space, large living / kitchen area with all the facilities you would need, overlooking a nice quiet garden at the rear of the hotel.
Freezer had ice build up, so door would not close & not a great TV signal, may be annoying if you are paying full price.
Suite was large, great location, nice garden. Room was quiet and had all we needed.
Dishes were not really clean, reception staff seemed unfriendly.
