The friendly and helpful attitude of the staff. The hotel is run down in places but it is kept very clean, the breafast was fab and the rooms are comfortable, we had a sea view, excellent! There was no shower just a bath |

Reception on arrival, choice and quality of breakfast, comfort of lounge, drapes and bedcovers in room ,sea view and closeness to the beach. Furniture and fittings in the room were tired and generally in need of refurbishment especially the badly cracked wash basin in the room and the lack of a shower. |

Friendly staff. Clean room. Excellent breakfast. Perfectly situated on the seafront The hotel would greatly benefit by a small amount of modernisation. |

The sea view, The hotel is old and decayed with threadbear carpets and old furniture and bathroom fittings (no shower) etc. The lift is circa 1950!! It needs a complete refurb, the restaurant is only open for 1 hour !! We couldn't leave fast enough it is probably the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The coffee was undrinkable. !! |

The staff were very helpful. The buffet breakfast was nice. The room was a good size. The hotel was clean and tidy The the decor of the hotel and the room was very shabby and could do with being updated. i.e threadbare carpet, peeling wallpaper and paintwork. |

The breakfast is very good and lots of it. Staff very nice and helpful. This hotel needs refurbishment and most of the public areas need attention. The room we stayed in was clean enough, although the windows hadn't been cleaned for sometime. The residents lounge was a nice area to sit and have a drink. This hotel has a lot of character and it would be lovely to see it looking the way it did he it's heyday. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It has a lot of the original features which were beautiful, but unfortunatley in need of restoration. Perfect setting as directly opposite beach No parking on site |

This hotel is along the promenade and looks out over the sea. The decoration is old and shabby but that rather adds to its attraction ,if you are not looking for anywhere too fancy. We loved the conservatory ,where we could meet ,and also play the grand piano! lovely relaxed and friendly staff. The night porter had a cup of tea waiting for my daughter ,after a dawn swim:) great generous breakfast.Dont stay here if you like to complain about creaky floorboards or peeling paint, but overall good value for money. i requested a downstairs or easy access room for my elderly very frail mother but didnt get that but maybe there were so many nooks and crannies that there really wasnt anything very disabled friendly!Lift very old but worked well (I think its the same lift as 40 years ago when my family used to visit regularly!) |

The breakfast was good quality, but that was all! The very creeky floorboards, in the hall ways, in our room, and the rooms above it, there was no shower, the hot water dribbled out of the bath tap, the kettle was positioned where there was no plug, the tv took up all the dressing table, therefore blocking the mirror, and we needed a step ladder to get in bed because it was so high!!!! |

Staff eager to please. Comfortable lounges and bar to relax and unwind. Excellent position overlooking the beach , and very handy for all Yarmouths attractions. Entertainment four evenings a week. The buffet breakfast is superb. Don't miss it !!. Hotel very old and in urgent need of renovation, but this is reflected in the low price you pay for a large sea front hotel. Look at the rates other seafront hotels are charging !. Bar only open from 7.00p.M. to 11.30p.M. As this is a seaside hotel, longer hours would be appreciated by all. |
