Royal Hyde Park Hotel  

The hotel was always clean, i want to thank those two ladies who cook and then make up our rooms, reception girls and boys were very helpful and welcoming, cleaniness was everywhere... i liked my stay and sure i will do it again.

Very clean and comfortable and in a perfect location. Staff were very friendly and polite. Will definitely stay here again and have already recommended to friends that they should stay here.

I needed a room for next week and they were full booked.

location was excellent, very near two tube station and was above a very lively street

The excellent location at 100 m from metro station, bus and cycle hiring, also a lot of restaurants and shops. Friendly staff at reception desk. Breakfast was ok but basic. Taking in consideration the high hotel prices in London, this was a quite good compromise if you don't need too much luxury for a few days.

Room furniture and bathroom very basic, no place to sit elsewhere than on the bed which was a little hard with just 1 pillow to put against the metal bars when you want to lean. No chair or table. Safe not working.

No vegetables for breakfast, boring breakfast, no variety at all. We still have not got our reservation deposit back...

Good quality/price ratio, free wifi which works (sort of, disconnects at times), great location, felt safe at all times (single female traveller), nice bathroom, good heating

Noisy, not that clean, my bathroom door would only open halfway, cold (single-glass windows), the heating worked well though, bad breakfast, questionable security concerning luggage left at the reception (main door to the street open around the clock)

Very clean, fresh towels every day, friendly staff. Simple but good quality continental breakfast (two choices of toast, croissants, cereals, boiled eggs, marmalade, butter, packed cheese, salami, yoghurt, juice, tea, coffee), tables were cleaned very often. Several free WiFi-channels. Bed comfortable; free, big safe in wardrobe. Very good fittings in the bathroom, very hot water in shower. A lot of shopping facilities, restaurants, bars etc. in the street. Bayswater tube station just across the street. It´s fun to look at all the busy people on the street.

Queensway is a busy street - so it may be quite noisy. Garbage trucks, busses, pub crawler etc. may disturb your sleep. Walls are thin, doors and windows are not sound-proof at all. Only instant coffee available.

The location is excellent. The area is busy but not noisy.

The rooms are kind of small. You should not take big lugggage.

They blocked my money twice! And refused to cancel one blockage! Now I have to wait a month to get my money back!

A bit hard to find Very poor sink/shelf arrangement

Location is strategic near Bayswater and Queensway station. Ease of transportation to central london. For Malaysian, near to Malaysia Hall canteen where you can find malaysian food

Sometime difficult to sleep due to noise from the road. Stayed for 3 nights and the bed sheet was not changed.

We liked the location.

We thought the price high for the comfort and facilities offered. Yet, this price is more accessible than others for foreigners in London.

The hotel far exceeded my expectations - I have already recommensded it to many others and will be trying to book three more rooms myself.

The stairs- not much fun with a large case, especially getting to the fourth floor.

Location in Bayswater not in the Westminster as it says on the website (booking.com), suraunded with many interesting restaurants. Near underground stations to everivere.

They said that there is a wifi in every room, well You have it but iz simple does not work. I had to pay extra 10 £ for a remote (tv one), the breakfest is a bit miserable, and the stuff, well they are not verry interested in a good impresion on the guest.

The room was very clean and had everything we need: the bed was confortable, there was a tv and a safe locker. The bathroom was small but very clean and has hair dryer and towel heater. Breakfast was fair, with some really good croissants. The breakfast room was too small, but the people are all very nice. It is 2 min walking from bayswater tube station. It is very reccomendable, has a good value for money option.

The only inconveneance was that there is no lift, so we had to climb the stairs to the 3rd floor with our bags..

Very kind hotel staff. The free WiFi worked well. I did not try the breakfast during the two days I stayed here so no comments. I had located the hotel entrance on Google Street View since people had some problems finding it, so it was very easy to find. Nice location. Close to the subway, many restaurants and groceries nearby.

I bought a late deal and this was great value

It was a little noisy above the high street but I always travel with ear plugs in my bag so no problem

The price-£39.00 For a single room & the location-about 20 minutes walk to Marble Arch/the start of Oxford St,also 2 Tube stations (Bayswater on the circle line & Queensway on the central line) both a few hundred yards away.

Being asked for a £10 deposit for the remote control was a bit odd (I declined, I just needed somewhere to sleep).Also could have done without the fire alarm going off for about 30 seconds at 3 in the morning.

Fantastic location close to x 2 tube stations with shops and restaurants yards away. Clean and comfortable rooms with compact but good en-suite facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for money.
