    It took 45 min to check in, further 1 hour to get an upgrade of the room on the next day and another 30 min to confirm the room and get the keys. Noone cares if you are tired or less able to stand in the queue - the service in general was disastrous

    Right next to Lancaster Gate station (tube) and Paddington Station (Heathrow Express) Rooms nice Concierge very helpful

    Reception not helpful Didn't answer the phone numerous times Couldn't find my reservation Had to move rooms - wifi doesn't work in all of them Everything - all extras very expensive

    The location is ideal and all rooms have open views. Staff are cooperative. Good facilities. Good for business and leisure.

    Where ever i go one of the first things i concern about breakfast. Breakfast was really nice. Staff are friendly and location is the best. I would stay next time again when i will visit London.

    The only thing i dislike is that wifi connection was quite poor.

    1- The location. 2- Reception staff. 3- Concierge staff, specially Sandra.

    1- The furniture need some improvement. 2- The Furniture at the lounge area need to be changed asap, this is very important; also it is needed to have some service for hot and soft drinks and snacks. 3- A seating area for smoking at the outer entrance with hot and soft drinks service is badly required.

    Good location Reasonable standard of room - a bit dated and rather small bathroom

    An unfortunate start to our stay: Our intended room was not ready so we were allocated another. It was a twin but we had booked at double, so we had to wait while it was re-arranged. The TV did not work. 2 calls before it was fixed. The next day no one came to clean and service the room (2 calls before finally cleaned at 5pm) and there were workmen outside drilling and hammering on our wall until around 6 pm. It was as though we had been given a room that was not due to be occupied. Thereafter, things went as they should.

    The service was professional, pleasant and welcoming. Staff were very helpful. Location was really good, best feature of the hotel.

    Wifi was good but a tad slow and was weak at edge of room. Room service food was great, but would have preferred a wider selection on the menu.

    Bed was comfortable. Close to Hype Park and shops at Queensway. Close to Lancaster underground station

    Price is higher than the standard of the hotel.

    I booked a standard room for my wife and I as we were celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary. The hotel staff and management couldn't do enough for us. The room was lovely, clean and overlooked Hyde Park. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it.

    Location

    Could not get anything to eat from the bar menu at10:00pm and bar staff refused to make cocktails until they served everyone in the que!

    Loved everything about the hotel, from my 10th floor view of Hyde Park to the huge comfortable bed and the international TV channels. I stretched my budget beyond breaking point to stay here for 4 nights. It's the swankiest hotel I've ever stayed in. A few guests were like me, arriving sweaty from the Tube with our suitcase on wheels, but most guests were cool and well put together in their business suits, holding discreet meetings in the many restaurants. Lots of Middle Eastern families staying for Eid obviously had their own drivers or certainly took taxis.

    London was having a heat wave and I ended up at the hospital with heat stroke after 2 nights in a horrendously hot hotel at Tottenham Court Road. The doctor ordered me to stay in an air conditioned hotel for a few days. The joke is that nobody informed me that the air conditioner had to be turned on in my room. I thought it was all controlled centrally so did not touch any dials. There were no posted instructions either. My room felt stuffy and warm. After 3 nights I made inquiries. I had to call 3 times ( over 6 hours) before someone was sent to my room. The staff member cheerfully told me how to control the temperature. I had one Locke cool night On check out I got an apology and was told all I had to do was call. I thought it was just the British version of air conditioning.

    Staff was understanding and helping also staff on the gate were good for welcoming me and my family

    One thing you need to take into account to consider the the situation of the guests in terms of their flight so I was trying to delay my check out and then I got only one hour from reception .
