Reception staff was really friendly Horrible price policy for breakfast, to get toast to english breakfast we needed to buy a mix of bread and pastries for 11 gbp and need to pay extra for tea and coffee. A breakfast for 2 comprising of 2 english breakfast, tea, coffee, glass of water and bread came to more than 50 gbp, this is a pure rip off. Did not go for breakfast any more. I was in this hotel in June and a full english breakfast incl. Toast and tea/coffee came to max 40 gbp. |

Very courteous staff. Very punctual room service. Excellent location across Hyde Park. The Tube station is only meters around the corner. Taxi stand beside the hotel was very appreciated. Clean spacious rooms. A very highly recommended 4 star hotel. The breakfasts were excellent but a bit overpriced for a continental breakfast. |

First impressions of this hotel were excellent. Its location close to Hyde Park, Oxford Street and the West end of London was great. Also it is very close to the Lancaster Gate underground station so makes moving around London easy. |

The location of the hotel is very good; being center and close to most London atractions (underground station is just behind the hotel). The lobby is not clean. It is not a wise idea, in a rainy city such as London, to have carpet in the reception. The rates of the 5 days I stayed varries dramatically. |

Pleasant staff. Room not too small. Good location. The bed was very short.My feet stuck out and I.m only 1.75 meter. Did wonder if by mistake it was put in the room the wrong way around as it seemed very wide. Room 1218. |

Very good location, amazing view (were upgraded and had a room in the 18th floor, amazing! Very big and nice rrom, very clean. It is not really a cheap hotel. |

The rooms were very clean and you weren't disturbed by other guests at night. It felt special! I didn't like our view but we were out sightseeing and shopping most of the time so it was fine - everything else was perfect. |

The hotel is in a great location to see London and just across the road is Hyde Park. Within walking distance all directions you will find interesting parts of London. We found a nice French restaurant across the road and 5 minutes further up this road good Indian, Chinese and Italian Restaurants and a nice pub and not touristy. The hotel itself is excellent value for money. We had a lovely bright, airy, good sized room and a nice clean bathroom. Ate in the restaurant on our first evening with no complaints there either, nice view out onto street. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. We will certainly use this hotel again escpecially at the rate we paid. Great value for a good, smart London Hotel. |

Site seeing and shopping The cleaning staff entered our room at 08.45 on the day we were leaving. We were not due to book out until mid day. A very unwelcome way to be woken. |

I liked the room it fulfilled my expectations. The staff were polite and helpful.The hotel was centrally located and made getting around easy. The breakfast was limited especially to non-pork eaters. |

We were placed in a smoking room by mistake then a room with two single beds, but to our delight we were upgraded for the inconvenience to a top class room. We were very hppy to have been messed around . thanks for a great weekend . |

chose this hotel for it's location, room was comfortable and clean, bed was fantastic( i'm over 6 feet tall). booked room only so can't comment on dining but had a meal in the thai restaurant and really enjoyed it, would definately use this hotel again. my only complaint would be that we were sat next to a rail seperating the kitchen and dining area in the thai restaurant and the staff tended to lean over this to attend to us, would have expected them to make the effort and come to the table and serve us properly, not what i'd expect in a four star hotel! |

The excellent loacation and easy to get to. "On top of the Underground station"; top of main London shopping street; directly opposite Hyde Park The strange options for Breakfast. There is no simple option to have a "buffet" style breakfast. Why is is it necessary to split the guests into three catagories and send them to three seperate locations? We booked online and the breakfast was not included in the price. When we went to breakfast we were sent to a restaurant with no other option but to have a full breakfast and pay 28 gbp. |

the reception area and the reception staff the room was more like a travel lodge although it was classed as superior. my reservation stated breakfast was extra so we budgeted for only sunday breakfast then we found out it was included. the restraunt staff were less than helpful and we waited for our order for cooked breakfast to find out later we just help ourselved. the de caf coffee we orderd was instant in a sachet! |
