The room was very clean & comfortable. My car was valet parked and in a good position by the head doorman. Unfortunately, the Thai restaurant did not open at a time to suit our needs. We had tickets to a show at the Royal Albert Hall. |

It was refreshing to find perfect croissants at breakfast .... I travel frequently ( globally ) and I would say that the rating of a breakfast restaurant is reflected in the quality of the croissants |

Very central for tourist - very accessible to Paddington Stn - close to tube - Hyde Park view - nice area. I am amazed that the London planning authorities allowed such a monstrocity of a building ( 16/17 storeys) to be built overlooking Hyde Park . |

Comfortable, pleasant staff, room was well appointed and clean with everything in working order. Would definately stay again, would just avoid the Bar areas. Frustrating queueing to check out to then be told I needed to join another queue due to the fact that although the desk was in fact marked reception today it wasn't. Also prices on the lounge bar menu aren't what was charged, states £4.80 for a bottle of Beer and then charged £5. Also a "discrentionary" 12.5% service charge is automatically added to your bill. This made a bottle of Beer and a Vodka & Coke over £16. |

The location was brilliant, just round the corner from Lancaster Gate Tube, No 46 bus from Kings X/St Pancras Station stops outside hotel, our room overlooked the Eye and the city. The rooms are luxurious. You would be hard pressed to find better at the price we paid. We were upgraded to a deluxe room on the 15th floor but it was a smoking room, because we could not open the windows the smell of cigarettes was constant. However, this is NOT a complaint because we had been warned it was a smoking room on arrival and were offered a no smoking room, however, the location of the room we had was worth it! |

The staff is competent and efficient. The rate through booking.com was good. The location is excellent, close to train: Paddington Station and to metro: Lancaster Gate. there is a nice Cafe across the street from the hotel (Bathurst street) which is a good and cheaper alternative to the expensive breakfast of the hotel. Everything that is not included in the room rate is very expensive. Internet connection cost GBP17 a day, printing cost GBP1 a page, two courses breakfast is GBP46. |

Football Match Shows Shopping I had a cocktail in the Island bar and was given it in a wine glass I saw the bar man ask the 2 spanish girls who were serving would they like some and then put the rest of the cocktail in 2 smaller glasses and dressed them up and left them behind the counter for them so I feel thats why I was given such a small measure at around 8 pounds for my drink I was annoyed by this.I lived in Spain and can speak Spanish so could understand what was going on. |

The place is very near to the hyde park. The rowdiness of the concierge, door of the room can't prevent the noise from corridor to come in. |

excellent location, friendly, helpful staff, booked a city view so didn't expect much but actually had a not bad view of Kensington Gardens and Wembley in the distance nothing major - bathroom a bit dark and no light above mirror and shower head could not be moved. Breakfast arrangements a bit confusing and weren't really explained until the 2nd day, though to be fair they didn't charge for my 5 year old. |

They had no record of my Booking.Com reservation but when I showed them my booking number and a copy of my confirmation they were apologetic and eventually gave us a nice room. I did not like the fact that they had no record of my reservation through Booking.Com but it did not seem that it was the hotel's fault. We were very stressed whilst we waited to see if they could find us a room. |
