Great location. Very helpful, friendly staff. Lovely room. Great restaurants, superb food.

Lifts very slow at peak times.

I especially liked the friendliness and helpfulness of he receptionists and the concierge.

There was nothing I did not like.

Location, comfortable rooms, nice lounge to sit and relax in and staff attentiveness.

The room was big and comfortable. The views (from the 9th floor and from the breakfast room) are splendid.

I asked for large bed, they gave me 2 single beds push together as one large bed. if want to call front desk "0" they will take long time to answer. those 2 only, other then that every thing is great...

Very good hotel in city center

Tiny rooms

The hotel has a luxury feel beginning from the lobby. The rooms are clean and does not look run down as per other hotels we have stayed in. The staff are all friendly and always helpful. Tube station are close by and buses will get you to the attractions. We were headed to Paris after our stay and took a bus right in front of the hotel to St Pancreas station to take the Eurostar.

I think our double bed was 2 beds put together. Didn't realise it though until the 3rd night there. Wasn't a big deal though. Comfy enough for both of us.

Location.

No Wifi except by paying. No free breakfast Staff aggressively pushing expensive taxi service to Heathrow. Price started at 45 bp and went up depending on what terminal you were flying out of. Were unclear about info and obviously hustling clients. The big selling point was that you would be riding in a Mercedes. Had someone knock on our door impersonating a policeman and demanding that we open the door. Apparently several other guests were subjected to the same problem on that night according to the security officer. There seemed to be much confusion about answering our call or help. In fact, the security officer went to the wrong room.

The friendliness of the staff was the best I have ever encountered.

Routing directions to the restaurants should be better.

Thai Resturant, Check in, Location is immediately next to Hyde Park and Lancaster Gate tube station.

Location; close to event I was attending.

Room was too small, for what you pay. Also the rooms are kind of old and could certainly have some remodelling. Concierge was kinda standoffish, a bit rude. You may get better treatment from him depending on the color of your skin. You may think you are checking in into some premiere and luxurious hotel. Just wait until you see your room. When you check-in your asked to sign a voucher with your credit card for amount X. When you check-out you will realize that that pre-approved voucher you signed was not for X but for like X + 30%. The guy at reception was not able to give me satisfactory answer to their shady practice.

I love this hotel ,it has excellent service, room cleaning, location and also comfortable bed. The location is too excellent, the underground station Lancaster Gate is right on the ground of this hotel, and also the Hyde park is only on the opposite. My husband and i went to the Hyde park on the morning, it's fantastic. I have introduced this hotel to all my friends.
