Bed very uncomfortable, room was exremely dirty, view of brick wall out of window, damp patch on ceiling, bath didnt work, tv signal terrible unable to watch anything. Lift access only up to 3rd floor leaving 2 floors of stairs and winding corridors building felt unused very poor value for money
The view and location was ideal.
The shower was broken as had to hold the handle and flooded the whole bathroom resulting scolding myself turning it off. It needs updating and very old fashioned. Direction of rooms weren't clear along with sloping stairs which is unsafe.
The beautiful view, the staff were pleasant and helpful.
The breakfast was poor, carpet in the bathroom, yuk! No Wifi in the bedroom, the T.V didn't work, couldn't plug the kettle in near the tea making stuff and it leaked. The hotel was dated and scruffy and I'm sorry to say the hotel was a bit smelly.
Needs to be refurbished bath was degrained ,window was cracked and bird poo over windows holes in carpet not very clean
Fantastic position overlooking north beach. Staff very friendly and helpful
Hotel needs an update and refurbishment. Our room was large with a great view but the furnishings and decor was very dated and mismatched. The ensuite was clean but doesn't look like it has changed in the last decade or so. Hotel has so much potential but is in desperate need of investment.
Location was unbeatable. Very central. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Our room had a lovely view of the harbour and sunrise. Rooms made up and clean towels daily as well as tea tray, tv and hairdryer. Free wifi available. Staff helpful and friendly. Hope to return.
Decor in need of a bit of updating.....but location, staff and character made up for this.
Great location; across the road from the harbour and beach. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Location in Tenby is superb. Absolutely gorgeous view right in middle of town. Breakfast also really good.
Hotel desperately needs updating. Very drab and not particularly clean. Bed not very comfortable.
tenby very nice
rooms and bathrooms very dirty, poor breakfast ,staff not friendly
The view from the bay window was excellent.
There was no parking nearby. Not one of the staff entered in conversation with us ,they seemed unconcerned whether we were happy or not.
Amazing sea view but the cleanliness was poor and staff attention was poor. Would only recommend based on the location and view. An ok hotel, very dated and needs refurb
The staff and the bathroom, toilet dirtiness
View from window was magnificent. Room was large.
Hygiene and general cleanliness was shoddy. Mould on shower curtain, mould on grouting of tiles. Spare cupboard contained old newspapers and old clothing. Carpet needed thorough vacuuming, plastic garment tags still lying on floor. Windows filthy, which was a pity as the only good thing was view. All decorations, walls, furniture needed make-over. Not so much that the place was looking generally tired, more that it was totally exhausted!!!!
The location of the hotel and view from the window (the bit you can see through due to large cracks in the glass and bird poo!)
The room was very dusty. Shower did not work properly, lights in the bathroom went on and off constantly. The bed gave us back ache. General condition of the room was poor and certainly needs attention.
View from room
most OK but room floor slope questioned sobriety a few times
Location and views of north beach stunning, staff friendly and welcoming, would stay here again
Rooms are a little bit dated now and shower was difficult to get decent temperature from.
The location was excellent, and convenient and staff were friendly and helpful, also breakfast was well catered for and the cooked vegetarian breakfast was wonderful as well as a fantastic view of the sea.
The lift felt unsafe and there were gaps underneath all the doors of which the bathroom door wouldn't shut properly but these we could ignore as the hotel was lovely.
The view from our rooms was simply wonderful. The hotel could perhaps do with some refurbishment but the rooms were large and comfortable, beds were also comfortable and its's a very convenient location.
Very little, though the un-double glazed windows could be an issue if staying on a cold windy night
minimal breakfast lift sand in our room shower that was either hot or cold windows that need fixing cutlery when dropped put back on table
Food excellent Staff very friendly and helpful Excellent view from our room
Hotel could do with a refurbishment
A car park closer to the hotel would have been nice.
LOCATION, FOR A THREE STAR IT WAS OK, QUIET IN THE NIGHTS, BREAKFAST WAS OK, FOR AN OLD BUILDING IT WAS OK BUT OBVIOUSLY IT COULD BE IMPROVED IF A LOT OF MONEY WAS SPENT ON IT.
FOR A THREE STAR I KNEW WHAT TO EXPECT AND IT WAS EXACTLY WHAT I ASSUMED IT WOULD BE. MAYBE A LITTLE EXPENSIVE FOR A THREE STAR, BUT WE THOUGHT IT WAS OK.
Situated right on the beach with easy to town centre and wonderful views.
Hotel was quite old and a bit dingy in places. For the amount paid you would expect a bit more luxury.
Location so handy, room clean and comfortable. All we needed for a short stay.
Fantastic view over the bay
Old poor quality furniture Curtains hanging off rail and couldn't be closed Noisy water pipes Old faded bedspreads
