Located near the lovely Marine Park Gardens, The Navigator Hotel is a beautiful 12-bedroom hotel. Some rooms are located in the Beach House Annex.

Score from 210 reviews Good
Nice friendly welcome. Good size room with nice sea view. Good service at breakfast.
Fluorescent tube in main light in bedroom. Shame that the main bar closes down after dinner and consequently nowhere to sit and chill with a drink later in the evening. The other bar did not look inviting. Restaurant meal 6.30 - 7.30 obviously catering for the coach trade was unappealing. Might have considered staying in to eat - especially after a long day at Goodwood if there had been more on offer.
The staff were always willing to be very helpful. There was a relaxed atmosphere. The hotel although elderly didn't feel tired. We felt valued as guests;hotel was well-organised ran smoothly was clean and welcoming.
I liked the location and view. Good quality towels and linen. Brown blankets, not very beautiful. Lovely room and view.
I don't like your booking system. I don't like being told I got the room at bargain price. so why am I complaining. Fixtures and fittings are weary and don't serve a purpose. Management not very charming, could do better! Once again I have to agree to "Terms & conditions!
Wonderful building and a good location. Perfect for Goodwood.
It needs some investment to realise the potential of the building. Double beds were tiny and uncomfortable. Geared up for oldies on coach tours.
Clean, adequate room - didn't get too hot over night Pleasant and reasonably attentive staff in the restaurant
Rather cramped room, The fire alarm from the room next door going off at 07.03 am and disconcerting us as we woke up.
Loved the views from room...staff and breakfast great
Bedside lamp dangerous condition....radiator loose
Staff and hotel were excellent.
Bar hours, not even open on two days 'til evening.
Friendly and efficient staff, a virtually excellent stay.
Lunches or bar meals not available. Limited menu for evening meals, restaurant open only one hour, bar opening times changed.
We had a uperior room type which had wonderful sea views and was nice and big. Good breakfast
Very creaky hotel so when anyone walked past room it was very disturbing
Staff & cleanliness were excellent. Room was nice & comfy but floors do squeak ( wooden & old). Great situation & good sea views. Quiet, if that is what you want, catering mostly to the older traveller. There is entertainment but not really our cup of tea. Bingo!! Quizzes etc.
Breakfasts were mostly good. Dinners were mostly tasteless. Nothing was seasoned properly, if at all & sauces were like water!! If we'd been there longer would have eaten out for dinner.
Always a friendly reception, on site parking a bonus. Breakfast cannot be faulted.
Pleasant staff. Rooms were O.K. but request for room with no stairs for elderly relative was ignored.
Absolutely no alternative to full pre-booked dinner with service finishing at 19.30. Where is the snack bar shown in the facilities at the time of booking? Only one bar available in the evening. Only one hour breakfast service.
Too much to list.
Hotel was nice car park was good
Bedding was very old still had sheets and blanket and the food was ok for a lady but I think it should be more for a man
It was an ok room, not a good value for money hotel.
The location was ideal, right on the sea front and walking distance from the town centre, the room was fine, had a sea view which was very pleasant just struggled to get to sleep as was hot night so had the window open and because it was a sea view could hear everyone else coming back home from the pubs the same as I had done.
I had a one night stay here to visit friends who I had not seen and the hotel was a bit like an old peoples home, we all felt very out of place. It certainly catered towards the older clientele.
The Norfolk was a pleasant enough place to stay.
We had a very tired looking room but it was clean.
The staff were very helpful on what was a busy weekend for them with a music festival in the grounds. Breakfast was lovely.
It was an incredibly hot night and air con would have been great, or a fan in the room.
We were in Bognor to attend a funeral and the Royal Norfolk Hotel, situated right on the sea front provided us with an excellent base. Our room, although not overlarge was clean and comfortable. The bed had a new, thick mattress on it and the bed linen and towels were also very clean. The food was delicious, well cooked and presented. Really good value. Perhaps not a place for young people and small children it did however seem perfect for the older traveller. The staff were attentive, hard working and always polite despite some very grumpy (attention seeking?) visitors.
Sadly, some of the public area lavatories were a trifle smelly. It suited our needs admirably otherwise.
sleeping accommodation was good
parking facilities were not good but appreciate a pop concert was operating that day. I did, in fact, finish up with a damaged car.
staff food and generally everything
Lovely old style hotel and room clean and comfortable with all we needed for one night. Easy parking on site. Right on top of the sea front, and with a large garden to the front setting it back nicely from the main road.
Could only see a brick wall from our room on the ground floor but otherwise no problem with hotel. However Bognor Regis is not the nicest of towns and would not go back. Did visit Littlehampton not far along the coast, and this was totally different and we would visit there again. They are currently rebuilding the seawalls but even those works did not detract from the pleasantness of the area.
Parking was more than adequate. Access to Bognor Town centre was a relatively easy walk. The views from the sea-facing room were very restful on the Sunday morning - although I couldn't be sure that this is so in February. A mature hotel, but well-refurbished. The staff, mainly non-British, were efficient and friendly.
The absence of air-conditioning. The room was fine, but during a warm night (August) it became airless. Opening the sash window to its fullest extent failed to provide a reasonable airflow. Additionally leaving the window open during the day would pose a serious security hazard because the balcony is not secured.Breakfast was a bit of a bun-fight when a coach tour party of 40+ persons was staying at the time.
Lovely room with sea view and good breakfast and dinner
On the last day notice said bar open for snack lunch bot didn't open
Location was good
Our room was located right next to the elevator and all we could hear all night was the elevator rumbling up and down along with people's conversations as they waited for it! The room wasn't dirty, but certainly wasn't worth £90 for one night. Certainly won't be choosing to go back in a hurry. Oh, and as some else has said, the coffee was disgusting!
