The location and views are excellent at the Anchorage . Within easy reach of town and museums . Had everything we needed . Staff at the reception were helpful and responded to any problems we had .
On the downside this apartment is looking a little tired and needs some maintenance . I'm assured by staff that this is soon to be dealt with . Would not have paid list price to stay .
Sunning views from the Penthouse , very clean , comfy beds, best we have ever stayed in
nothing to not like , collecting keys and returning them was a bit of an inconvenience but would not let that put us off and would stay again..
liked the views, light, design, cleanliness, quietness, convenience of location for our needs, the comfort of the beds and bedding.....
although excellent value overall, there were insufficient 'dining' chairs for our number, also the downstairs bathroom was cramped and the basin very small as it served 5 of us downstairs, whereas the en suite bathroom serving a double room was good. Shower rail upstairs inadequate.Poor floor fitting on the mezzanine; locks on french windows tricky....
The staff r very helpfull when u check in
You hv to check in in duke street n then go to your apartment in the docks In fact they hv allocated me in different place than the place i booked.. They clean the apartment once a week , so u run out of towels n toilet papers n everythin
The place was very comfortable for our family of five and the view was amazing! Very close to Albert Dock and a great shopping district.
Pay a fair amount for parking.
ledge above sink means you can't wash your face without getting a bump on the head
space, location, value for money, quiet with lovely views
having to travel to a different location to pick up the keys was a pain
Location to echo arena
No wifi Ensuite bathroom tiny! A residential tenant came up to us and said we shouldn't be allowed to stay there and it was supposed to be residential only!
The amount of room
City centre key pick up. The need to take pre payment in case of damage
The view and outlay of the penthouse was fantastic, bedrooms beautifull sitting room and dining room fab views.
No instructions for the cooker and hob so we couldnt use it. complicated to work out
Royal Quay Penthouse Apartment must have the best view in Liverpool. The split level lounge is a delight; floor to ceiling windows looking out over Albert dock all the way to the Liver Building. Great location close to bars shops. restaurants and museums. Within walking distance of Liverpool One. Comfortable beds and good bathrooms. On site parking (chargeable but really convenient) One tip - ask for two sets of keys. A luxury style apartment and although a bit tired in places, we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Check in is from 2:00 pm and I had phoned ahead to ensure that the apartment would be ready at this time. On arrival I was told it was still being cleaned and I had to wait about an hour. However we were offered a complementary 1 hour late check out. Balcony furniture was poor and needs replacing. We wanted to use the cooker and it took a lot of experimentation before we could get the oven to work. An instruction book or leaflet should be included in the information pack for the apartment.
Apartment rather tired. No dining table & chairs TV did not work Water cut off for 8 hours one day without notice Parking charge unnecessarily hefty Internet access would be useful
The view Location Good kitchen Good standard Two bath rooms
Noisy neighbours Friday and Saturday night
Although it was not the apartment we book it was really lovely. A little bit further out of town but worth the taxi fare. When we arrived at apartment 69 South Ferry Quay I telephoned the Base office, the young man who answered the phone explained that they thought this apartment would be more suited to party. (we are mature ladies). He was right!! We had a wonderful time and was most impressed with your customer care. Not only were the staff friendly and polite but nothing was too much trouble. Birthday cards arrived at the Base office and a lovely young girl delivered them personally. It was much appreciated.I have recommended you to all my friends and look forward to another family reunion when we will book another stay with Base Apartments. Thank you for everything.
There was nothing we didn't like.
Being charged £455.40 for a chair which broke when my son in law sat on it the first night there. They said they had to charge for 4 chairs as they couldn't get one to match. Needless to say we won't be going to those apartments again. p.s don't companies have insurance to cover such eventualities!!
Great location 10 min walk to Albert Dock, apartment was beautiful with fantastic view of docks, staff friendly and very helpful, had lovely 3 days would highly recommend
great view and in the center so nothing was far away.
double bed not very comfy
balcony and view
some of the fixtures in apartment were a bit worn and in general the apartment wasn't very clean
The central location that's why we picked it.
It was Far Too small for two couples. The second bedroom only just fitted a standard double, you could only get out one side! The bathroom had a faulty shower,a broken, sharp loo handle & cracked sharp floor tiles. Such a let down.
Great view over the Albert Dock. Apartment was clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Perfect location, shops, bars restaurants and museums all within walking distance
Not the most comfortable of beds and the light curtains don't block out the street lights!
the balcony. . the rooms .....we enjoyed most of it....staff very helpful... were good...
the balcony wasn't up to my standard, it could have cleaned down before we went into it....and it needed a table and chairs on the balcony. the tv wasn't up to much it did not work , but it didn't stop our enjoyment.....
Location was perfect. Ideal place to stay with family or friends
The location was excellent and the apartment was stylish.
It was overpriced, We have stayed in nicer more exclusive hotels that where cheaper. The standard wasn't quite what they made out.We thought the preauthorisation deposit was very high,we were charged the same as it cost to stay there.
Space, facilities, comfortable, safe, area all very good, ideal for a young family, overlooking the marina. Quiet location with good restaurant next door. Close to centre and taxis are cheap though I wish I had taken the car for convenience
Check out time too early at 10am. No cleaning brush or mop.
Apartment was very clean and in good condition
Apartment was further away than advertised and my sister in law has heart problems and therefore found the distance too great to walk to the Echo and Liverpool One. The time for checking in was incorrect on the website and checkout time was no use as we had to catch a flight at 8.15am. The locks on the door was very difficult to open.
