Helpfulness of staff. Quiet location. Spacious Room.

First class breakfast, and plenty if you wanted it. Waiter service excellent. Good view from window.
Room could have done with a make over, abit outdated. Hard to get Wi-Fi from room.
Everything was what you would expect and more great breakfast
Location, free car park, friendly staff.
Good large parking area.Wow factor entrance and hotel lobby, spacious bar area with comfotable seating and good selection fom the bar. Good dining area for breakfast and evening meals.
The bedroom was altered from a family room with the ajoining door having a door size foam panel behind. All electric sockets are at skirting level therefore could not boiled the kettle on the worktop were it was left. Bathroom cold with lino flooring and shower screen let water onto lino.
Staff were brilliant all round and even the curry was miles better this time round
Clean and tidy. Good room size. Breakfast was lovely.
Bed needed tightening up.
Location, staff very friendly and helpful
The room was not worth the money the bed was very un-comfy.
the location, the food was very good, service very pleasing, staff very attentive, lay out of the hotel, comfort of the lounge, over all we had a good week/end,
the hotel could do with some updating in the bedrooms, mattresses could do with changing as not that comfortable, notice on back of door in bedroom, in relevance to emergencies needs updating
Restaurant meals and breakfast were very good. Staff were very helpful and allowed me to charge my mobility scooter each day. Our room had a nice view too.
Bed was a bit hard for my liking.
Restaurant free bottle of bubbly after proposed 2 girlfriends
The staff are really friendly and facilities are nice. Food was good and the room we had was good.
Quiet at night, nice indian food.
When we arrived we got given our key to room 107 a twin room, we asked for double. Didn't the fact that on our second morning we was in the breakfast hall having our breakfast and sitting next to us was a young couple with a little boy who had a few problems and the blonde young girl who worked there was whispering about the baby. I found that disgusting on all levels. Also there was dog poo under our bed in room 101.
Theres nothing that I didnt like
Price, comfort, peaceful location, good service
Start time of your resturant is to late at 7pm
I liked nearly everything
The bed,the springs dug in,but apart from that and the draught from the window it was Lovely.
Good size bedroom with large bed. Good breakfast with excellent staff. Good parking.
Untrained waiter in Bollywood restaurant, unhelpful and annoying.
the position of the toilet in the bathroom
We have been coming to the Royal for many years, mainly for the 4 day breaks that are good value for money. On this occasion we wanted to stay an extra night to visit the theater.
Friendly staff, the bed room was a bit smaller than I am use to but it was clean and tidy. The breakfast east morning was excellent. The facilities in the room was it what I would expect from a good hotel with the exception of the bed.
The mattress was old with protruding springs which made it difficult to sleep. If this small issue could be resolved, I would certainly return.
The clean room The comfy bed The clean bed linen The food at the evening meal
The room was like a dungeon with a small window that looked out on a brick wall. The bathroom was very cold.(no heating) The whole bathroom was so wet with condensation after a shower in the evening that the next morning the towels were still soaking and the toilet paper was soaked. This meant it was impossible to have a shower in the morning. The toilet was faulty so we had to keep removing the cover of the cistern to make it flush. The bath/shower valve was very stiff and hard to use. There were wires hanging out of the hair dryer box. We were not allowed to eat in the main restaurant so had to endure loud music and a flashing pictures from an enormous TV screen in the Indian restaurant. There was no fresh fruit at breakfast and the cup I was given was badly chipped. When we left the porch was leaking everywhere and we had to negotiate buckets put out to collect the water. The carpets in all the public areas were filthy.
Good second stay at this hotel staff very friendly breakfast excellent good selection and variety for all tastes staff at breakfast time cannot do enough for you. Hotel itself is ten minute walk into town location is great hotel is clean and warm throughout with tea/coffe in rooms always more available if you ask. Our second time here a good standard hotel well worth a stay not over priced and very friendly
Only not like was not having a bath just a shower however I didn't make request for bath but will know next time
Room very small, furniture old fashion and marked. Bed not comfortable. T.V. Mounted above the picture rail. The only way of viewing it was by laying flat on the bed and looking up. I would not return.
The bar staff man who was on 3 till 9 was brilliant, breakfast was really nice too.
The Bollywood meal wasnt up to standard, I asked for Hot and didnt get it as i asked for and found one of the male servers was rude,
