Bath & shower in bathroom Tea & coffee facilities
Single room was small & felt cold - I was unable to get the radiators to work neither at night nor in the morning....:/ No soap on bathroom
Good car parking facilities Good breakfast, waitress very attentive.
The room & furniture looked 'tired'. A slightly distasteful 'smell' in the room. No hair-dryer in the room, had to ask to loan one.
Easy reach to town center and beach front
Wi Fi is non existence in rooms
we thought he was well politewell manard and if there was a reward to give he would get our vote of 100% Nothing was to much trouble for him works really hard would book to stay here again in the future
Lovely comfortable feel about this hotel. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Great value for money, breakfast is excellent. I will definitely book again.
I have stayed twice now, the first room was lovely, the second time we only had a shower and no bath, I would make sure I asked for a room with a bath next time.
The staff were friendly good breakfasy
Cleanliness was terrible, the room was cramped and next to the kitchen extractor which stunk, my colleagues were in the basement when the hotel was half empty. The bed was jammed between a wardrobe and a table and every time I sat on the bed the wardrobe would wobble.
Private balcony which would be nice in better weather
Indian restaurant food disappointing no spice what so ever
Excellent breakfast, location.
Bathroom was very small but the friends we travelled with had a good size bathroom even though we all paid the same rate.
The bathroom in room 110 was terrible it was small and full of damp and mould and the toilet was on a box so if u sat on the toilet your legs were in the air, other than that the hotel was superb
This is the third place we have stayed in Skegness and by far the. Best!!!. A must try is the Bollywood indian restaurant thats built into the hotel it was fast service and outstanding food and great value for money.
Had a wonderful stay at The Royal Hotel. Very clean & comfortable & is in a fantastic location with lovely friendly staff. During our stay we had a meal at the on site Bollywood restaurant which was fantastic! The best Indian meal we'd tasted in a long time & very reasonably priced! Overall a lovey stay and would recommend!
Location, room, Indian Restaurant
No background music in breakfast room when very quiet & felt waiter was watching us all the time as no one else in the room at the time.
Location of Property, The room (we have a family room for a couple), car parking facilities.
table for 2 in dinning room, too small, had to use shelf behind to for used cereal bowl in order to eat main course
We had a lovely meal in the hotel restaurant and nice buffet breakfast
Our room was near air conditioning unit which kept us awake all night
Bed and pillows hard. But some people like hard bed.
English food menu could be improved on
Lovely hotel and grounds; entertainment at night; games room. My son and I enjoyed our stay, thank you.
Some reception staff not as friendly as others; could do with more things to do in the games room; shower cubicle was quite mouldy; not informed that we needed to book a table in the Bollywood when the English restaurant was closed.
breakfasts were very good on a self service basis.
bathrooms very small and could do with more shelving and revamp. beds were comfy but pillars could be better. stayed in better places
Comfy beds, and nice breakfast. Staff were nice too
The bathroom, smelt musty and was very small.
We liked the elegant decor inside, the chandeliers and the layout of the comfortable reception rooms
We stayed an extra night so changed rooms and that particular room was not so good or comfortable, being a family room and more cramped.
room was warm, quality of food.
waiting time at the Bar Music loud could here it in our room, but soon settled down.
The hotel was within walking distance to the town centre.
The room was dirty, cramped and not good value for money compared to other hotels in Skegness. We had high expectations, but felt let down that the room was over priced for what we were allocated. If breakfast had been inclusive of the room rate, this would have been a fair price. Nonetheless, the room was poor overall and we will not be staying at the hotel again.
Breakfast Staff Location Large rooms Resturants
Bar prices Noise above in rooms
Food was value for money and the breakfast was great.
We had a couple above us and they were noisy. You could hear the telly and talked/walked very loud.
Elderly clientele so aimed at that age group
