yes liked, service, I was very clear, very friendly ... and recommend it to my friends etc etc
not like having to pay 5.99 for 2 yogurts and 2 croissants when ja little more have to choose the 10 o'clock in the morning!! and having to eat in very dirty tables, apologizing more attention that the room could have been better vacuumed. .
Location was excellent
Slightly mean with supplies - only one pillow, no spoon for making drinks, very limited supply of tea/coffee/milk, etc., but comfortable nonetheless
Hotel staff pleasant and friendly and bed absolutely excellent
The location of the hotel.
Although it was winter we were unable to turn down the radiators. It sounds a little sad to say that but it did spoil our sleep. My partner had to open the bathroom and room windows to the max to get some cold air in. The hotel is a little out dated the staff excellent. Tried to have a bath/shower but the water was lukewarm which was weird with the radiators being red-hot all night.
Location, warmth, cleanliness
Price, unfortunately they are in the same market as travel lodge but considerably dearer. Size of room was very small.
We liked the hotel and the atmosphere. Two members of staff that were particularly helpful were the man who booked us in and the lady who organised the breakfast. We didn't go to the disco because of having to attend a wedding function but it was still going on when we got back and sounded really good.
The actual building needs some tlc and updating. The staff seemed under a lot of pressure and were very busy, we felt they were understaffed although despite This is a lovely venue but could be better with décor improved, ie in restaurant noticed a repair needed on the ceiling. Paint and woodwork needs to be done throughout and a thorough cleaning of seating in the restaurant needed.
Can be a steep price for one night, but look out for offers, that's what I got and jumped at the chance because it's a great hotel!
Staff couldn't do enough for my group of friends, and the rooms was clean and spacious would go again
good location nice and clean
the rooms where clean but we were across from the staff cleaning area and we were woken very early by the staff laughing and discussing their night out i would stay again but would ask that the staff have some consideraion to the guests .
Good WiFi connection, room was clean and comfortable.
Water in the bathroom wasn't hot enough, had to make do with a cold shower.
Location was good - especially for attending any performances at the Baths Hall. Good quality TV in the room, decent free wi fi access. Breakfast quite good but coffee flask didn't work properly.
It's a pub, really, not a hotel. Old and tired and in need of a complete refurbishment. Room was poorly equipped - no phone, no ironing board or iron. Shower was either too hot or off - had to have a bath. lots of noise from the pub downstairs on a Saturday night.
A fire alarm going off in the middle of the night is an annoyance but can't be helped. For it to continue to go off for the rest of the night intermitently is disgusting. Nothing seemed to be done about it. Unacceptable.
One member of staff who moved me was very pleasant and helpful.
Initial room wasn't cleaned or bedding changed. Moved to another room and the eating was actually working! Very disappointing but close to the hospital!
Food quality & Price Staff friendly Excellent shower!
The staff and a quiet room until....
A burglar alarm going off very late and totally unacceptable noise levels for Saturday night's regular music slot.apparently we should have been told but weren't. If we had known we would stayed elsewhere. It was painfully loud in our room.
It was ideally situated for my purpose.
My room was absolutely freezing. Even in bed I couldn't get warm.
Location friendly staff sensible meal prices in bar.
Rooms are in need of renovation, mattress was awful (worn out) bath and tiling very tatty.
Cosy, relaxing room. Staff were friendly and helpful when approached.
Food wasn't of very good quality.
The bed..too soft and could feel springs.
On retiring for the night nothing
On booking there was no information regarding a disco situated below the room. Perfect sound box for all night thump of music beat. Any sleep impossible for hours after cessation of noise. Not fit to be offered for accommodation for travel weary customers. Letter to your M.D. to follow
Handy for town centre. Friendly and helpful staff.
No radio in bedroom and no decent news channel on TV. Very poor breakfast; my poached eggs were overdone and the toast was dry and tasteless. My wife had just a small bowl of cornflakes and was charged £5.99!
Hotel was great and staff were excellent very friendly and very helpful would defiantly stay again
My room was well presented and equipped and the bed was comfortable.
I didn't realise the accommodation was directly above a pub which fancies itself as a nightclub. I was very lucky I ended up in a room at the back away from it all. As a Saturday night, there was very loud music clearly audible in the rooms and corridor directly above. Also as a single female traveller I wouldn't recommend it as there is nothing to prevent drunk people from the pub downstairs going up the stairs to the rooms. I locked my door very securely!
Bed was comfortable.
Room was very depressing.
A hotel that provides a good level of service and comfort at an excellent price. The meal deals seem to be very reasonable price although we did not eat there.
Lights weren't working the gents toilets in the main bar
