The bathroom was nice and spacious and very bright and airy. The room was nice and dark during the night due to the blackout curtains and the bed comfy. We were at the end of the corridor so nice and quiet.
Room was very cold during the nigth when the heating was off.
Location and very comfy beds, bar area good
Needs a lick of paint parts a bit worn
It was friendly and quiet
The bar. The location (in terms of where we needed to go, not the actual location)
It was cold, shower was poor, service was poor. Room was dated and tatty.
Not much --sorry we did get a heater on night two but thats all I can would not stay there again.
Being charged £11-25 for two slices of toast and two not so good coffees, cold bedroom, no towel rail in bathroom, and as we where attending a wedding the bride and groom had to serve the food due to the bad lay out of the tables and only one waitress , not a good place for a wedding they have no clue of how to put things right
Free wifi great !! And near local hi street for shops great !!
The kettle was disgusting there was dust and a dead fly in it don't normally look in the kettle to fill it but glad we did ! Looked liked it hadn't been touched in about a year !
The only complaint we have is the fact we had a double room but obviously 2 single beds pushed together which kept moving during the night so not extremely comfortable
Bar area very nice, food very tasty, and reasonably priced. Staff on reception very helpful and friendly, particularly as I had a problem arriving late, due to my father been admitted to Scunthorpe Hospital. Beds were very comfy, however rooms, and landing area were a little tired.
Food was fantastic and value for money
Parking was a bit awkward
Location to the Baths Hall
The smell of smoke in the corridors and the discarded take away meals left for the cleaning staff to deal with in the morning.
Corridor was full of take away boxes
Location . Friendly staff .Comfort
Because of wintry conditions heating was inadequate
The location was perfect as we were attending a concert at the Baths across the road. The room was very clean and suited our requirements. All staff members looked after us very well. Would certainly stay here again.
If anything the parking was a bit difficult. We did however find a parking space.
The rooms we're nice the people was nice
The rooms are cold, the heater did not work, there was half a roll of toilet paper not Evan an extra one, the duvet sheet had a whole at the bottom so the duvet was falling out the duvet sheet and i could not sleep, when I did sleep I had people nocking on the door.
The bed was very uncomfortable
The standard and cleanliness of the fittings in the bathroom. The double bed pushed against a wall due to lack of space. Noisy guests banging on doors at 3am. Food spilled on communal floors and still there in the morning and then having to step over it!
I like 18inch hot dog and my evenings entertainment
Location was good. Room was ok.. for a last min booking it met what we needed.
Room was a little on the small side with only 1 bedside table which was a little inconvenient with 2 adults. The bed had seen a fair amount of action and was very soft. Only one pillow each and no spare in the room. The cleaning staff seemed to love banging the doors really loud from quite early in the morning. When they did clean our room the shower gel was not replaced (it was empty) and the cups/teaspoon were still dirty. We also noticed a lot of little black flies in the bathroom.
Easy location for the event
Tired time for a tidy up
My family and I travelled from all over the world to Scunthorpe for a very sad occasion . Many years ago I met my first husband in your dance hall and it was lovely to return. We look forward to returning possibly in the New Year and would definitely stay at the Royal.
Ability to park on site 2pm check in and 12am check out Easy access to local amenities Good food Friendly staff Excellent manager Reasonable rates
Location, price and comfy bed
I had to swop rooms as most of the lights in room 30 weren't working. Second room, rm 18, was cold with two small electric heaters that didn't heat the room enough and the bathroom was cold as well.
yes liked, service, I was very clear, very friendly ... and recommend it to my friends etc etc
not like having to pay 5.99 for 2 yogurts and 2 croissants when ja little more have to choose the 10 o'clock in the morning!! and having to eat in very dirty tables, apologizing more attention that the room could have been better vacuumed. .
Location was excellent
Slightly mean with supplies - only one pillow, no spoon for making drinks, very limited supply of tea/coffee/milk, etc., but comfortable nonetheless
Hotel staff pleasant and friendly and bed absolutely excellent
