Royal Hotel  

The hotel itself is nice and clean, the staff polite.The hotel is in a good area for the suitability of the areas needs.

I was in room ten the things that were wrong was people were smoking on the fire escape stairs which meant the bedroom windows could not be left open for the night air.And having to have your curtains drawn shut in the morning ,because people are having a smoke outside your window is not ideal

That I could book on line and get a double room for £25. Good location for Scunthorpe General Hospital.

My husband is disabled. Fortunately for him, he can use crutches, otherwise we would have had to cancel our booking and move elsewhere. On our arrival we could find any marked disabled car parking spaces, and parking was limited. We were then faced with steps leading into the main entrance, as there is no ramp provided for wheelchairs. The door leading into the hotel reception, does not have a button entrance system, so anyone in a wheelchair would require assistance. However, saying that they would not be able to access the bedrooms, as the staircase is quite steep, and apparently there is no lift access, as none was offered for us to use. I am sure you are contravening the Disability Act, in more than one area..

excellent welcome from staff as usual, nice rooms and good location as its just outside the centre and only a 2 minute walk away, so no noise at night.

I found that the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable.

The room was very clean and tidy with the basics provided. Staff were all friendly and helpful and with the bar and eating facilities downstairs our stay was very pleasant.

The taps are hard to turn off, probably need the washers changing. Apart from that I have no complaints.

The location was just right

Basic, no shower jel etc, radiator not working however there was an electric heater but no heating in bathroom.

Usual satnav directions bypost code and address does not get you to the hotel and packing at the hotel can be challenging
