The staff were friendly, and the location is fantastic. I had booked a luxury/exec room, a double and a twin room. A couple of days before arrival I did receive a phone call that the luxury/executive room wasn't available, but yet I was charged for this room, rather than the double that I had stayed in. This would deter me from staying at this hotel again or referring it too others, yet we had a good stay and a good review had it not been that I felt a bit "robbed" by the charge.

Bed was very comfortable Charged £7.50 for poached eggs on toast breakfast, when the breakfast in the normal menu for full english was only around £5 no toiletries available, only handwash.

Staff very friendly room clean and comfy and food well priced and good Small point but they should consider small tea pots for breakfast and offer coffee already made rather than hot water and a sachet, the hotel is really good and the friendly polite staff a great asset.

Even though we booked the bridal suite,for our friends, when we arrived we found out the room was already occupied, which was very upsetting, but the management appologised for this and gave us the excecutive as an appology, and suppied flowers and champagne.Which made up for the mistake. The beds are very comfortable, with a spacious bathroom,

Nothing, apart from location for the purpose of our visit. Beer was like vinegar. Breakfast was appalling. There's something not quite right about a place that has multiple gaming machines flashing at you at 9am in the morning. Apart from Manager Louise, all other staff were sometimes rude, never smiled and gave the impression they didn't want to be there. They all had tattoos/studs through their eyebrows and generally looked like they were out on parole.
