good for the price
This hotel has had some bad reviews so we were concerned before we went however we felt the reviews were harsh. Yes the hotel wasn't perfect but it was clean and comfy and the staff were very friendly. For the money we paid we were extremely happy, and it was a great base for getting to the tower/winter gardens
Quite old and dated
Excellent value for money! location is excellent and the staff are super friendly. We have stayed here 3 times and would recommend it any couples or friend groups. 24 hour reception and cosy late-open bar area with pool tables - plus free brekkie :-)
The smell of damp, freezing cold room and dirty room were the worst things. Never stayed in a place like that and never will again.. If it hadn't of been New Years eve I would have refused to stay but travelling with friends so was difficult. How any hotel can allow guests to stay here is beyond me and no way could I entertain breakfast. AWFUL
Hotel was not good and the only good point was that it was warm
The drink was not up to much and I think it could do with a good revamp and at this point I would not rush to stay there a gain
Staff very friendly...bar well stocked and prices fair. Breakfast very good...all in all a lovely budget priced hotel. Does what it says on the tin!!
Parking can be a bit awkward but Coral Island car park 500yds away or free parking further up the road. Easily sorted.
The friendliness of all the staff. We were wary after reading the reviews However, the room was lovely, warm, the bed was very comfortable, sheets &towels very clean. The TV was up to date, and there was free WiFi on the room.
There wasnt much we didnt like The decor is tired in the hotel & needs new carpet
Curtains were awful, lamp shade had green mould in it, beds were rock hard and when you got on it it rolled off because they was on wheels, staff were rude to some friends we went with and charged them double, just not very nice! Would not recomend for a cheap and cheerful stay! Its a dump.
Nothing. It was the worst hotel ever.
This has got to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, not just the hotel but the staff was so rude one of them swore at my friend because he'd messed one of the bookings up. The rooms smelt like rabbit hutches and the hotel itself made me heave it was like walking through a giant skip. There was no doors on the walldrobes or the bathroom and for the price you paid it was a utter joke.
The bar was handy, staff very helpful and a good breakfast
No complaints, really. You get what you pay for
There was confusion with breakfast and cant see how it has been rated as 3 stars.
Unwelcoming bar man, stairs.. Having to give your room key in every time you went out and waiting for ages to get it back on your return.
the location was ideal for the tower
the hotel was badly run down and in poor condition
Cost was great. Get what you pay for
No car parking near. Cheap hotel at cheap prices. Clean but basic
Location, warmth, breakfast though basic was 'all you can eat', clean towels daily, bar area, friendly staff
the furniture could use a little repair, and the room a little uptodating
the beds are clean and comfy its ok for a cheap night to drop your bags and get your head down for the night after been out on the town
they took themoney before booking and we wasnt allowed to cancel our second room the heating didnt work in the rooms
It's a really good family hotel I would definitely go back there again
Just had a little misunderstanding with the lady at the reception which it made me question their loyality. But was fine
We were all put in rooms miles from each other our door handle was hanging of the sink was moving TV with no remote then our friends room the toilet was blocked the shower was dirty then on the way in I fell over because the mat moved under my feet and I went down as the floor was soaking wet
we liked everything
The hotel is value for money. No issues at all during our stay and staff were helpful. It's not the ritz but I have stayed in a lot worse places in blackpool.
No complaints at all.
Everything bathroom wasn't clean
Location, room with bathroom, breakfast good
Having to give keys to reception on going out...meant having to rush back from club , no bedside lamp, no carpet in rooms so felt cold
position of hotel allocated a quiet family room on family side of hotel cheap continental breakfast good for money room pleasant and warm staff available all time if needed
parking problems (as is the case tower side of Blackpool generally)
Good rooms, good brakefast. There is a small bar on site so nice to have a night cap before bed. We always stay here when traveling to blackpool.
the staff were very helpfull
the breakfast did not have much choice
