Nice size room. Great bed and bed linens. Very good location for the sea and The Lanes. Excellent value for money. Enjoyable breakfast. The entire area is horribly noisy due to the proximity of a nightclub - you would be very fortunate to sleep through the screaming kids on the street in the small hours. The lift often breaks. I measured the Wi-fi at .3 of a MB so anything beyond short emails is not happening - no good if you are conducting business

Close to the sea front and shops. Staff were quick to help when we needed them and very polite and welcoming. Fridge in room with water large comfortable bed. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast - continental - was quite nice and fresh. Doors were locked at night and a porter was on hand Tables at breakfast were so sticky that the plates/cups/tea pot were hard to move! Shower screen on bath needed to be wedged in place with a towel as it didn't fit the bath so opened and water flooded the floor. Also had to squeeze the lime scale out of each of the nozzles of the shower head as they were so blocked only half of them actually worked! Walls are also quite thin so we could hear the room next door chatting. Maids are also quite loud and tend to bang the hoover off of everything around. Hotel bar closed at 11pm

We loved the location Very tired looking, very dated, mattress well could you call it a mattress or just thick cardboard. Also the breakfast was not a continental breakfast let alone a breakfast, warm milk, stale bread and cereal was all that was on offer with some warm juices. For the price I paid for a Junior Suite this was awful and really soured a trip away for my girlfriends birthday.

I though that the staff were outstanding. They were polite, firendly and excpetionally helpful. I liked the fact that I could have breakfast in bed. The room was large, airty and had a good view over th square and fountain.

The location When we arrived we was given ncp car park tickets as door cards to enter our room which did not work 3 times I had go downstairs eventually a member of staff came up and got us in with a plastic door card key. The friends that were staying with us in a different room had same problem and there was already someone staying in that room they had get moved. Our duvet was more like a blanket and the room was dirty. Staff were clueless and was badly organised

The hotel is in a very good location to visit the city, close both to the center and to the beach area. If you come by National Express, it is right behind the stop, which is very convenient. Our room had a very nice view over the pier. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom very functional. Would recommend it, especially if you find a good deal on line.

Hotel was very smart on the inside, luxurious facilities and bedrooms. Friendly staff. Curtain in bedroom needed fixing. We only stayed Mon & Tues night, Mon night was very noisy with people leaving the club behind the hotel. Tues night was much quieter. But noise from other guests on our floor seemed loud, rooms not well insulated?
