Room is very clean, and the location is best.
Workmen outside our window from 8am on Easter Sunday. No mention of any Scaffolding blocking the view or workmen working at any point before we paid!
Breakfast was not bad
Didn't like having to pay £50 deposit for dog although I understand why. Just wish I had been informed beforehand on line and might of saved embarrassed. Also more lifts and the room we were given was a long walk up and down stairs, far end of hotel, not good for oldies
Location and cost. Although run down paint wise it is reflected in the price. Basic requirements are met and you can always eat out as so close to amenities
The extremely frayed carpet, the dead skin/dirt near the desk and the cobwebs around the window sill.
the location is awesome
the room was overlooked by seating area had to keep curtains drawn as youths messing about outside the windows although this area was suppose to be private. mix up over booking ordered breakfast but booking was without
room was comfortable had all that was needed
The Skaff holding on the out side of the building
Better than expected - took along time to check in as the staff where not the fastest or most attentive as she had to "find me a room" however good size room and clean. Beaware lots of scaffolding at the moment so don't pay for a sea view you shall be very disappointed if so.
The hotel was incredibly run down, the walls were filthy/ falling apart, the lights in the bedroom didn't work, there was pen all over the walls in the hallway, there was a huge chip in our bath. The windows rattled and whistled all night. It looked like nothing had be touched in 100 years! Definitely in need of a renovation. Images before booking where completely misleading.
It was a good location to get to the beach and the shops - although there are plenty of other hotels in that area.
Attitude of staff, especially reception. Husband is partially sighted and I am on crutches due to a broken ankle. No help was afforded with our luggage. Room dirty and jaded with what looked like excrement stains ont he carpet
Nothing except location.
Bathroom unclean and dangerous
Room hot, radiators couldn't be turned off. Scaffolding outside the window which we were not told about, charged for a Seaview Room and just saw green mesh! Complained and was moved! Creaky floorboards! Noisy outside in the corridor to all hours! Will not stay here again!
Near to the seafront!
The staff were helpful and very friendly.
Reception staff were very rude on arrival. Initial room had mould in bathroom and room smelt bad. They did move us after complaining
It is worst hotel I have ever been to, it could be beautiful hotel but it just fall apart and needs renovation. Dirty windows, old furniture, cheap breakfast. Toilet wasn't working so moved to another room , than we had water came from upstairs! Hope not from that toilet, ha ha! Location is good, bed was clean, but didn't worth £90 for a night. If you choose to stay, get breakfast elsewhere:)
Location is excellent! Unfortunately this is only good thing about this hotel.
Generous size room and perfect location.
Location and price
BREAKFAST WAS HORRIBLE
LOCATION FRIENDLY RECEPTIONISTS
It is a central city hotel and so attracts a lot of party goers who can be loud and drunk, but this is also because it is a cheap place to stay so you get this anywhere. There was a bit of noise from outside too, against. The price and location of the hotel tells you that you should expect this.
Efficient and fast checkin, the location is great.
Very upset that I wasn't told before I went that there was building works on the hotel,to then be giving a room with a view with just scaffolding to be seen, being told to keep my curtains close between 8-4pm then to have men walk round to my window leaving there rubish outside my window, Being ignored by staff when asking for help, turning up to check in but before that asking where I shall I park and again being ignored to then come out and to get a parking ticket, when telling a member of staff that just shruging it off with no care, No help with my bag on both accounts, or being told where anything is or even when what time I needed to check out...very poor service indeed.
The location was good
Bed too firm and bathroom decoration a bit tired
Location excellent, staff friendly
Location meant we were able to spend most of our time outside the hotel.
