From the North:
- Take the M23/A23 to its very end.
- Once in Brighton, you will see signposts for the seafront.
- When you see the Palace Pier, the hotel is directly opposite.
By Air:
Gatwick Airport (42 km/26 miles) is 30 minutes away by car and 45 minutes away by train. Buses from Heathrow Airport are available, stopping at Brighton's main bus/coach terminus, which is just around the corner from the hotel.
By Rail:
Brighton railway station is 2.4 km (1.5 miles) from the hotel. There are 2 services per hour to London Victoria, with a journey time of just 49 minutes.
By Ferry:
Cross channel services from Dieppe to Newhaven are available. Newhaven is 16 km (10 miles) east of Brighton on the A259. Buses run from here to Brighton every 15 minutes.
Parking:
Due to the hotel's central location, car parking in the vicinity is at a premium. Vouchers, enabling parking adjacent to the hotel and in the surrounding area, are available from reception and local retail outlets (at an additional cost).
Free parking is available every day between 18:00 and 09:00 at Regency Mews. From the roundabout, drive west on the seafront (with the sea on your left) and turn right at the 4th set of traffic lights.
A council-operated car park is available at The Lanes. From the roundabout, drive west on the seafront (with the sea on your left) and turn right at 1st set of traffic lights. The car park is located straight ahead (this is a 5-minute walk from the hotel, located under The Thistle in Black Lion Street).
Rooms with a jacuzzi bath are available at an additional cost and should be requested during the booking process.
The Royal Albion Hotel is currently undergoing outside renovation work that requires scaffolding from now until November 2009.
