Score from 410 reviews Very good
Restuarant closed at 8.30pm so bad to have a limited choice bar meal. Went to use the gym and was told I had to pay. They want £20 to park your car in their hotel. Had to pay £12 per night in the public car park.
Great view of the beach from my bedroom.
You can't use the lift for some rooms
It is close to everything
being able to walk out of the garden straight on to cliff walk above beach. spacious public rooms.
Very pet friendly. Gave us a room with access to the garden to take the dog out. Dog waste bin in the garden too.
Car parking was extortionate! Internal signage could be improved it is like a maze trying to find your room
The location and weather
The initial room we had was located near machinery which made it near impossible for a nights sleep. The problemwas rectified.
We enjoyed the overall ambience of the hotel and it's location to the beach and town. They changed our room and were helpful and sympathetic to our problem.
My room was the worst I have ever stayed in, in any hotel anywhere in the world. It was underground, with no natural light; cold, stuffy and noisy; shoved into the service basement. Wifi did not reach these depths. Every cost in the hotel has been cut to the bone and it shows. I was even turned away from the (very large and almost empty) restaurant because "a party of ten is coming soon".
Within easy walking distance for the town centre.
Location of hotel and room very comfortable.
Parking was a bit of a pain went for hotel parking which cost £20.00 perday
The room was very small and cramped
The location was very excellent for the business event I was attending
The hotel has an excellent view overlooking a beautiful sandy beach. The spa facilities were just what we needed for a relaxing weekend.
Regrettably there isn't much to be positive about this hotel. The value for money just isn't there and badly lacking customer service with staff attitude.
The hotel is conveniently located for all the places in Bournemourth Town Centre and the beach.
It was difficult to find our room because the room numbers are not clear. But the staff didn't help.
The clean room and big bed.
Parking was 20 pound. So really I paid 100 pound for a small double room. Didn't feel like it was worth the money.
Well decorated hotel. Good location
Breakfast buffet not very warm
Warm friendly staff
Having to pay for spa, most hotels I stay in offer this free as part of the booking. Biggest gripe was that we fully intended to eat in the hotel but by 8.30pm every restaurant was closed for food which I thought was crazy, even though the a la carte was advertised as last orders by 9pm and when we went to eat at 8.20pm the waitress informed us the kitchen was already closed. On a Saturday?????
Room had a smell. Windows left open in bedroom and bathroom presumably because of smell. Did not authorise my room key for the bar as requested so wasted half an hour trying to get it sorted
Good position. Breakfast was good. Bed a bit soft for me.
I expected more fresh fruit options at breakfast rather than tinned fruit.
I loved the Balcony overlooking the sea - wonderful position
staff have an attitude, rude and unprofessional
breakfast Garden Location
The breakfast at £7.00 per head seemed very reasonable. However the quality of the food was poor. It was evident that the full english breakfast was not a culinary experience, too many plates with unfinished food!
The hotel was very convenient for our needs. Parking was not a problem and close to bus routes. Being near the sea front to enjoy an early morning stroll was very nice.
Large hair/direct ball in the bathroom; chipped cup at breakfast (I changed it myself).
location; gardens and patios; beauty treatments being available.
Parking at £20.00 per day is too expensive. Should not have to pay to use advertised facilities such as pool/sauna etc, especially when neither the sauna nor the steam room were functioning
location, friendly staff, comfortable room with quite good view. Public areas pleasant
Club room didn't have room to swing a car
The upgraded room was lovely couldn't have asked for a nicer room
