De Vere Hotel Royal Bath HotelBath Rd, BH1 2EW Bournemouth (Show map) Good, Score from 195 reviews“Fantastic family friendly hotel with large rooms and lots of space. We had a large double room with two extra camp beds put in and still had space to swing a cat or two!! The swimming pool area is lovely and although children are only allowed at certain times it is still very family friendly. Breakfast is great and again it is family friendly, my children were very pleased to be allowed to choose their own breakfast! ”

A lovely three day visit to what I had always believed to be the best hotel in town. I new it as a child and now visiting from Canada I was not disappointed. Spacious seaside and sea view with excellent breakfast and service.

Tastefully decorated, comfortable rooms, excellent leisure facilities and an excellent breakfast range. Great location overlooking the seafront and pier. I always enjoy coming back to the Royal Bath. Telephone in my room was not working and I had problems connecting to the internet.

Was a lovely hotel, nice stay, well finished rooms, parts of hotel slightly dated but to be exspected with hotel of this age, but just adds to the character. Would recommend to any one. Its is located close to the centre but no right in the middle so is quite quiet. Nice pool and staff are polite and helpful.

The staff were very helpful and always spoke even if you walked past them in the corridor. The bar area is a great place to sit and relax. Breakfast was also very nice. The hotel room was very very hot we were unable to cool it down even the fan in the room didn't cool us down. We wanted a relaxed time away from it all for my wife's birthday and it was great however we were unable to sleep very well because of the heat

The excellent staff, the faded glory of the decor, hope you keep it and dont attempt the boutique style, the excellent breakfast and service. They need a plumber, our loo needed attention but as we were staying for only one night we managed, as we had unpacked and didnt want to move rooms. We reported it in the morning and they were very apologetic and said it would be seen to. It was very hot and its impossible to adjust the heating , however the windows can be open and we heard the glorious sound of the waves , and no traffic.

The rooms sea view was fantastic, and the location of the hotel was very good. The staff were very helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay. There were what looked like red wine stains on the carpet which was very off-putting. On two occasions we asked for wake up calls that did not happen. The car parking charges would put me off from using the hotel for a long stay.

Location, views, lovely lounge The bed was uncomfortable, it was like sleeping on a big jelly. The room was clean but I did not expect stained polystyrene ceiling tiles in a hotel of this calibre

The hotel staff were excellent . The hotel is looking and feeling very tired , meaning it could do with a face lift . The room was small , clean but noisey and kept me awake half the night . After complaining upon checkout I was informed it was because it was " in that part of the hotel the boilers are situated and maintenance would be informed " . Having stayed at the hotel before I don't think I will be returning .

We booked ahead and got a very attractive price. On arrival we were offered an upgrade to a sea view room for £10. The staff were friendly and courteous. We enjoyed the luxury of afternoon tea in the lounge and a very good breakfast the next morning. Old style hotel well maintained to a high standard

We found the hotel to be very clean and staff available at all times. The fish and chips in restaurant were very poor and had to wait ages for our bill.
