De Vere Hotel Royal Bath Hotel  

A lovely three day visit to what I had always believed to be the best hotel in town. I new it as a child and now visiting from Canada I was not disappointed. Spacious seaside and sea view with excellent breakfast and service.

The staff were very helpful and always spoke even if you walked past them in the corridor. The bar area is a great place to sit and relax. Breakfast was also very nice.

The hotel room was very very hot we were unable to cool it down even the fan in the room didn't cool us down. We wanted a relaxed time away from it all for my wife's birthday and it was great however we were unable to sleep very well because of the heat

Convenient to all amenities in town centre. Very nice furnishings all over hotel with lovely garden area in summertime. Excellent choice of food for breakfast with good service, also in bar/lounge. Staff very friendly and helpful.

On arrival hard to find room due to lifts system in different areas for certain floors/rooms as hotel is huge and spread out. Also, inconvenient not to be able to open the windows in the room when warm and quite cool sometimes with no heating.

The room and furniture very dated carpets throughout hotel threadbear in places. The bathroom also dated and could do with an re-ferb. The heating system was very very hot and no-one we asked could seem to help us lower the temperature, whilst other guests on the same floor had no heating at all and were very cold in their room We would like to have used Oscars for dinner, but found the menu never changed, and when we asked were told that this was something that was quite common in Bournemouth!! .

once again its the staff that excelle. the hotel is good, just a little tired in some places. great location. will stay here again

Freindly Staff, very close to the beach and town of Bournemouth.

Initial room could not close windows, was minus 4 on the Saturday. Changed room to a very small uninspiring room. Was a special occassion. decided not to stay the night, as it ruined the occassion.

Excellent service from all staff. Great location. Great breakfast. Good value for money. Comfortable bed.

Shower was difficult to use. Corridors in need of rrefurbishment. Parking very difficult and confusing - Reception staff very unhelpful and rude when De Vere reservations staff contacted them on my behalf. No facility to pre-book parking - at least then you would know for sure, in advance of your arrival, whether or not you have a space.

Nothing really it was cold uninviting all in all needs a lot of tlc to bring it back to its former glory.

To much to mention, The spa area was not very nice although the staff wee very helpful

Very old building. Needs repair. Floor creacking very much! Breakfast could be better.

This hotel was great, the staff scored 100% food 100% the only comment was that the weather was not 100%
