Everything was good, apart from the weather in the evening.
I wasn't advised that we had to pay extra for the swimming pool ,locker and towels . Room temperature was too hot and unable to reduce heat .Had difficulty to open window in the room .Not enough milk provided .
I like the location of hotel
Breakfast is very poring
Staff helpful and nice friendly feel in the hitel.
Struggled to sleep as no sound proofing,
room looked a bit tired.wash hand basin had a big crack in it.
Good old fashioned hotel with happy staff , clean , welcoming , a breath of fresh air . Nice to be normal , great job gang

No entertainment in Hotel
I arrived with my partner and her daughter around 4.00pm, booked in a went to search for our rooms . . One room was found and was perfect but the other booked room had people still in it and this happened twice until finally the Receptionist came along to make sure the room was clear and clean for us . . There had been a computer systems booking error which was unfortunate and staff were very apologetic and helpful with sorting this out for us . . It was only an over night with breakfast while passing through so overall I thought that our stay was a very comfortable one once we were settled . .
Comfortable, clean, in a lovely location. Restaurant was nice, as was the bar. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The pool/gym was not included, which came as a bit of a surprise. Also the free WiFi log-in page was not working.
The meals were very good so was the price
The very small wardrobe in the bedroom. The cost of car parking. The hotel in Bournemouth we usual use is free.
Excellent location. Afternoon tea in the garden was lovely and the bar area was relaxing. Staff were good.
Soundproofing in the rooms was poor and the buffet breakfast was very disappointing
Location. Brilliant for restaurants, close to beach, shops all nearby.
The room was too hot.
Poor customer contact, particularly on arrival
Located close to town centre, and areas that we required on this visit. Pleasant staff, and very good rate by comparison.
Room and particularly bathroom were too cold. Apparently head office decides whether it is cold or not.
Friendly accommodating staff and good food
My room with a half bath ,noise transfer from next door so I could hear them they could here me and I was conscious of that .
-The style of the hotel as you walk in is very old and impressive; -The bar area was very large and open with good decor; -Only a 5 minute walk to the beach.
-The room was looking out onto the road. We were not sure if the windows were double glazing or not but it was fairly loud at night; -The "double delux bed" was two singles pushed together with no mattress topper which made the middle very uncomfortable..would have been better just sleeping in 2 singles.
Not up to standard have stayed three times thought this time hotel looked very tired had a. major complaint that management did not resolve a party of four very disappointed letter going to HeadOffice
Brilliant see view Very clean and spacious room Comfy beds
Hardly any food or drink for room service
Overall great experience in a fantastically decorated and located hotel. The "back-end" staff were fantastic.
While seated in the lobby/cafe area, I tried to approach several staff members, but I was completely ignored by the staff waiting the tables/lounges and even by the girl behind the bar despite them being under an average workload at the time. The signage to the West Wing (Rooms 600 onwards) was poor, however, the staff member I happened to come across in the hall was extremely friendly and helpful.
Only its location in the centre of Bornemouth.
The cheap hard bed was impossible to sleep well on. Traffic noise outside and noisy people in the corridors outside my room both further disturbed my sleep.
The location is brilliant - in town, next to parking options, and with a beautiful view across its own established gardens to the sea and the pier.
The hotel has a distinctly out-of-date, sad feel to it - although there are glimpses of past glories, the grandeur has faded. It felt rather overpriced to be honest.
All of it we really like the royal bath .
The pillows .
