Location, facilities, prices, staff
Bed too firm, wifi didn't work
the room wasn't clean properly. the shower on the tap didn't work. werner advice on how to use the door key probably.
Good value good food friendly staff
On booking there is no mention of £20 per night parking fee. And for that price I think a good will gesture to client would be to quickly wash the seagull mess off on delivering car to front doors . 2 minute job and a happy client. Also the bar staff are in urgent need of training as to customer awareness and cleaning of pumps and bar bring in the trade not impressed. On mentioning to staff about both items in a friendly manner they were all of the opinion it was not really there job !! John Bagshaw sevenoaks keny
Breakfast was poor will very little staff . Tea and coffee pots dirty
The cheapness of the room for the location. Great breakfast in the morning. Bed and rooms were nice and comfy and perfectly adequate.
The fact we were out in the 'servants quarter' at the back, a miles walk and no lifts!
the car parking fee for residents was very high, the alternative being a choice of 2 public car parks, which were quite close by.
food was excellant
unable to order a daily paper no menu on the table at breakfast and a charge for using the pool.
large bedroom. Very warm. Excellent food. Value for money
Thought there should have been more staff on Reception at 3pm Booking in Time. Not impressed with having to pay £4 to use Pool and a charge of £1 for towels.
Price of parking
The location. The lounge & dining room. The staff. The breakfast.
Trying to locate my room with a suitcase, i kept getting lost. When i eventually found my room i wasn't able to use the key & searched for some time to find help..The bedroom was very cold, the duvet was paper thin and there were no spare blankets. The radiator was cold in the bedroom and there wasn't a heater in the bathroom so it was very cold! The shower did not work & a row of tiles were missing next to the bath.
Location, room, ,leisure club, food, , brilliant staff
Dated and unclean
Room was great
Couldn't connect to wifi
Friendly helpful staff. Excellent airy bar room.
Very friendly, beautiful building. Liked having the vallet parking.
It needs up dating.
Conveniently located with great facilities. The room had a gorgeous view on the sea. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Loved the welcoming feeling of the lounge
My room was really nice compared to the last time I stayed there. Very impressed
View from my window
Buffet supper for £9.99
Food was good and room spacious
No heating until late in day. Lounge was very cold. Guests had to sit with coats on. Lots of asylum seekers?? Britannia have been criticised about this before. can be quite intimidating.
The room was too too smal and uncomfortable
The room I upgraded to with sea views
I was disappointed with the room allocated from my booking through Booking. com fortunately I managed to upgrade obviously at additional cost
Good location, lovely grounds and views from around the outside of the hotel. Nice breakfast
Unable to open any windows in the room, no temperature control in the room. Towel rail not working so bathroom was cold.
Comfortable, quiet, spacious, clean room. V comfortable bed. Plenty of towels. Bathrobes and slippers were very welcome but a bit skimpy. Lovely sitting room which, sadly we didn't use. Nice spa and pool.V good breakfast.
Unseemly scrum at reception with longish queue. Most unwelcome after 4 hour drive.Scramble to unload car which was awkward esp with disabled wife.V disappointed no spa appts available to guests. Only 1 chap, run ragged to retrieve cars. V un/professional. Car parking expensive at £20 for 7 and a bit hours! Some staff v helpful but others terse. Suspect that many had scant grasp of English. Some fairly minor tweaks would make for a "smoother" experience.
Nothing except location but plenty of other hotels in good location
Dirty room, food outside windows, dust everywhere, no room to sit at table to do hair, kettle had to be put on floor as it didnt reach table, teabags cheap, floor not clean
good food , good swimming and leisure facilities, great location.
we stayed in rooms 801 and 802 . We were extremely disappointed that there were no windows and no ventilation . One of the rooms had windows but did not open , because of this we couldn't breathe at night . we did not create a fuss because we were only there for 2 nights but could not stay in those rooms any longer than that . I strongly advise you sort this out as it is also a health and safety risk , you need 2 exits in any room for fire regs. The extractors did not work very well either so bad smells could not escape. The parking was expensive .
