Helpful receptionist, who connected my ipad to internet for me. Plentiful buffet breakfast. Very reasonable price. Pleasant bar staff.. What's not to like?
great location and great value for money would return and recommend to friends.
very dissapointed that the lovely comfy bed had no mattress protector. The key cards made opening the door very difficult. .
Location was very good, staff were very helpful. the breakfast was very good.
Hotel in general was lovely
Free Wi-Fi was non existent
close to beach , casino , which is what we came for
The hotel is in a great location, for shopping, beach, restraunts, casino, every thing is there.
We was upgraded to a sea view room, which smelt when we walked in, you couldn't see the view as the windows were so dirty. I got the room changed and it was slightly better.reception staff was good, breakfast was good, but since I was there last it has gone down hill, I loved the hotel last time I stayed but it is now been taken over. But it was ok for what I needed.
Partking is a rip off. Park up the hill for £2.00 overnight rather than £20.00 for 24 hours. If you have leisure facilities these should be open to all residents none of this you have to pay £4.00 to join if it is not included in your room rate.
Great location, nice staff and good hotel for what I needed.
Only downfall was being charged extra, so make sure you check your accounts upon leaving.
Location was perfect for what I needed it for. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast has good selection. Would stay again.
No free wifi in rooms
Communal areas of hotel and location very good.
Room 620 was off of corridors and up back stairs and landings and seemed like a bolt on to the main hotel, not in keeping with the rest of the hotel. The room itself was very claustrophobic, with little room to move around, having stayed here before in the same hotel for the same price with a room probably 3 times the size of room 620, I feel justified in writing this. Unable to get a wifi signal in the room. Toilet had a very poor flush system.
Morning swim with the pool to myself.
Did not find staff very helpful and I felt rushed to get my bags in my room by the door staff, as it started to get busy.
The room we had was really nice the water was really hot and the food was good.
Met all my needs.
Room very hot and couldn't open windows - suspect they were from Queen Victoria's time! Problem solved by turning down the main radiator! Key card problem a real pain.
Excellent bedroom and comfortable bed. Friendly staff .great location for easy walk into town or to the beach.breakfast also very good
The twenty pound per night car park charge, although a public car park is next to the hotel and much cheaper
I think they could serve food in the Bar/Restaurant later than 9pm
Location by the sea, bar area and staff. Excellent sauna area (but sadly no longer included in all bookings).
I have been to this hotel on two previous occasions, including the night of my wedding. On this occasions I was silly enough to leave my bridge style camera in the bar, but it was handed into reception by an attentive member of the bar staff. When I came down to look for my camera, I was informed that my camera was with reception. Initially there was some confusion; but I was able to get the member of bar staff to come to reception and the misunderstanding was quickly cleared up. Subsequently, I was told that my camera had been transferred to a locked room where lost property was kept, and that I would be given my camera back in the morning. The morning was complex, but I did not get my camera back. The hotels CCTV footage showed the camera being received by reception, however, it was not transferred to the usual (locked) place of storage but was placed in an area not covered by the CCTV, and could not be located.
Great hotel, very comfortable, staff were great and the location perfect.
£20.00 a night parking charge
The view, the breakfast the louge space
Poor wifi, had to pay for parking
Paying to Park expensive. To use their pool you had to pay which I have never done before. Rooms need a huge makeover and were far too tiny for 2 people. The bathroom door was off its hinge, some lights did not work, the hairdryer was missing and no batteries were in the tv controller.
location was good breakfast very good
The hotel looked nice from outside but inside wasn't that nice room was very small and there was so many straits and walking
Staff, location & breakfast
Room was a bit cold when we arrived but it was warm when we got back after having our meal.
Rooms very nice and comfortable .
Bed was too soft for me .
