Score from 892 reviews Good
I like the location of the hotel for the town centre. Although the room I had overlooked the road the noise level was quite acceptable. The room itself was spacious and looked as though it had recently been redecorated with a new carpet. Oscars restaurant is first rate with an excellent menu and great staff.
The bar staff in the main bar seem completely indifferent and the service is painfully slow.
Staff were friendly.
There wasn't a window in the room & I wasn't told about it when I checked in. The room was too hot without any ventilation. Damp patches on the walls weren't great to see.
Buffet dinner good vakue
Attitude and attentiveness of non English staff is terrible!!
The room was very nice, although hard to find! The venue and garden was spectacular.
Hard to find our room!
Service was poor on arrival. A large group of Italian Pilots were checking, I waited and waited without any acknowledgment from the Supervisor Tom, no eye contact nor a smile when I complained about the service . However the next day he was polite and smiling. Bar service poor with teas as well.
Also breakfast poor, cold croissants, white bread , no bread rolls. However beautiful location with excellent leisure facilities if required.
Employee Tom very helpful. Breakfast
LOTS! Bad customer service Room was 4 flights up no lift. No heating you have to pay for facilities Room felt and smelt damp Too much money lots more but sending letter to head office. Bad hotel!!
Everything was good, apart from the weather in the evening.
I wasn't advised that we had to pay extra for the swimming pool ,locker and towels . Room temperature was too hot and unable to reduce heat .Had difficulty to open window in the room .Not enough milk provided .
I like the location of hotel
Breakfast is very poring
Staff helpful and nice friendly feel in the hitel.
Struggled to sleep as no sound proofing,
room looked a bit tired.wash hand basin had a big crack in it.
Good old fashioned hotel with happy staff , clean , welcoming , a breath of fresh air . Nice to be normal , great job gang
really comfortable bed and spacious room and good breakfast
I had a lovely room with sea views and modern bathroom and the beds were extremely comfortable. The location is superb right next to the sea and gardens. The buffet dinner at £9.95 in the Brasserie is excellent value
The charge of £4 to use the swimming pool. This wasnt in place the last time I stayed at the Royal Bath
Every thing. Thank you so much
The Hotel is on sea front. Beautiful King Size Bed. Plenty of different types food for breakfast.
No entertainment in Hotel
I arrived with my partner and her daughter around 4.00pm, booked in a went to search for our rooms . . One room was found and was perfect but the other booked room had people still in it and this happened twice until finally the Receptionist came along to make sure the room was clear and clean for us . . There had been a computer systems booking error which was unfortunate and staff were very apologetic and helpful with sorting this out for us . . It was only an over night with breakfast while passing through so overall I thought that our stay was a very comfortable one once we were settled . .
Comfortable, clean, in a lovely location. Restaurant was nice, as was the bar. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The pool/gym was not included, which came as a bit of a surprise. Also the free WiFi log-in page was not working.
The meals were very good so was the price
The very small wardrobe in the bedroom. The cost of car parking. The hotel in Bournemouth we usual use is free.
Excellent location. Afternoon tea in the garden was lovely and the bar area was relaxing. Staff were good.
Soundproofing in the rooms was poor and the buffet breakfast was very disappointing
Location. Brilliant for restaurants, close to beach, shops all nearby.
The room was too hot.
Poor customer contact, particularly on arrival
Located close to town centre, and areas that we required on this visit. Pleasant staff, and very good rate by comparison.
Room and particularly bathroom were too cold. Apparently head office decides whether it is cold or not.
Friendly accommodating staff and good food
My room with a half bath ,noise transfer from next door so I could hear them they could here me and I was conscious of that .
